you need the original runescape client open to the login screen...

"MIRROR" mode?
searching for "OSRS" client to attach to?

Same issue. Done everything you can think of.

Read about 500 posts with the same issue and still can't get it to mirror on OS official client :(

mirror mode only works on windows and mac (altough I think for mac you need to set up some extra stuff).

With linux, still waiting for devs to fix it 

 

try reinstalling java https://adoptopenjdk.net/ and make sure to run the official runescape client. https://www.runescape.com/oldschool/download

Windows 10.

Got it mirroring with OS Buddy but obviously that is no longer compatible.

I just cant get the rs client to root.

32 bit / 64 bit / java se kit. Deleted them making sure I’m only running 1 at a time and not multiple.

download the one i linked and install it, you can have multiple JDK's JRE's installed 

be sure to select the option to set the java PATH
