Spreading the URL to members through a PM is advertising. All of the OSBot rules stated here, counts for the whole website, so for private messages as well.

 

You aren't banned from the chatbox because you wanted to play poker, you are banned because you kept advertising your poker site after various warnings given to you by other staff members. If you are right and really got misinformed about this, then I will remove your PM & chat ban, otherwise it will stay for two more days.
