basically mod jacmob was roaming round with a clan banning bots and dropping there items , one of the people in the clan hoping to get some loot was botting the day before well...

yeah i know its kinda old , but some people probably haven't seen it , i didn't know that they can search an area pull up a list of names and then see when and what they have been botting , as to how far the list goes back who knows ... you could have been botting for 2 hours/24 hours i don't think it really matters , and you could have botted a few days then have been playing legit for months and if they do  search when you around and good fight?

 

 

so staying under the "12" hour bot safe rule or whatever is bullshit , its basically wrong place wrong time.. safe botting should be botting when the jmods are sleeping and turning your bot off whenever there's a bot raid.

How does this video have to do anything with 'Bot Detection Confirmed'?

It's just mods going around manually banning people, they get together and do this all of the time.

 

However maybe I'm missing something, what's the importance of what's going on at the 19:00 mark, I see nothing special?

I bet all it was is a Silver crown Pmod marked bots at popular areas and that was the "Bot Busting detection".
Since he said you were botting lobs weren't you. Makes me think a Pmod marked his account and wrote a note about his account botting lobs..

I still do not believe that Jagex has the ability to tell when people were botting. I followed them the first time they were doing this bot busting and they didn't say a damn thing about me so I'm confident that its bullshit and a scare tactic.

most people are under the idea that "manually banning" are mods just going to popular locations and looking for bots, while this is true they actually use a tool that pulls up names around the mod and tell you whos legit and whos botting and when they where / are they currently botting .. according to the video atleast

Something more like "Bot Detection System Information" sounds a bit better to me.

 

Your title makes it seems like everyone who bots will get banned due to their detection or something like that :p.

 

I think we can all still agree that overall Jagex is still really bad at catching bots on a whole. They've got a lot of work to do :-)
