Getting banned in two hours

Recommended Posts

Hi,

For past month the ban rate for my moneymaking method skyrocketed. Before I can even suicide for 24 hours if I decide but the period that I get banned got shorter and shorter and yesterday got banned in two hours on fresh not botted account which is ridiculious. I am using my own made script so any chance that Botwatch can now detect it very easily? Don't think it could have been a manual ban as it was an evening. Any advise? :)

If the method is f2p, they're constantly working on f2p so if you don't constantly keep updating you're bound to get slapped silly anyway.

You mean updating the script? It's quite strange as I had no bans for few months and then they started to become more frequent and frequent. Any tips on how to improve script? It's quite difficult to see what to update as the script it self is quite simple.

Update as in do more other things before botting. Back in the day, you'd be able to go 1-40 straight with no other nonsense and not even have to do 7qp because you could mule all your shit at the end of the 18hs. Now good luck doing 7qp and 1-40 fishing on a proxy

Detection is a learning algorithm so it will become easier to detect after every ban, only way to prevent this is by changing your methods or not getting banned

Any tips on what could be changed in script itself. I will try changing methods to prevent profiling (doying different quests and etc.), but in the script itselft. As I mentioned it is very simple as the whole task is pretty simple. As far as I know changing sleep times doesn't do much. Maybe there any thread or something that teaches about "antiban" :D One time bans were high for me too and that time I changed clicking patern so it helped for a month. Not sure how much you need to change your method to become not easily detectable again.

I've been experiencing VERY similar bans for the last year or so since I started my farming adventures.. There will be times where my script will live for what seems like an outlandishly long time without any bans (usually 3-4 weeks or longer), but then they will progressively get faster and faster to the point that I get banned before ever making any decent money on the account(s).

I've tried building entirely new scripts, on new methods, using banking/pathing that is unlike other bots that may be doing the same thing (IE... banking @ cwars instead of lumby for a plank script). I've tried changing my click patterns, degree of variance, etc etc.... Nothing seems to be helping. Proxies and Residential IP's have both been tested, very little difference in ban rates.

Their machine learning is truly kicking my ass right now..

I got flagged too quite fast, created a script for buying and alching Bracelet of ethereum, probably quite popular money maker because of the low requirement (55 magic). Anyway, botted for 4 hours on sunday, on monday morning could log in, did some pking on that account for fun, but after some time tried to log in again and couldn't because the account got disabled.

I used and tested my own written scripts on that account, could it be because of that?

Try using a different Proxy providor. Jagex may be detecting your proxy ISP. (Try to avoid datacenters).

Try changing your script, adding some randomization, try to make 2 accounts doing the same task, appear totally different, such as mouse speed, reaction time, make it highly variable.

So Jagex could be detecting your :

IP address (account creation, and playtime)

Script Behaivor

Have you tried looking at how many bots are on each IP? I'd hazard a guess that if 10 accounts are all making planks on the same ip then it's more likely a bot farm than a group of plank enthusiasts :)
