Valiant One Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Title. I'm paranoid much, but would like to know for sure.
IDontEB Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 They can detect anything and everything. The NSA tried to acquire Jagex so they can figure out how they know everything. 1 1

AsBakedAsCake Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 They can't detect it, no. I don't understand why it's so hard for people to answer a simple yes/no question, lmao. 1

It's one of those questions where either the answer is sensitive since it's the key to successful botting and no one who knows will answer truthfully, or it's the kind of question that doesn't need to be answered since it's irrelevant. In this case, it's irrelevant because if it were relevant towards bans, someone would have noticed already and informed everyone else.
fittig Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Think like this, as long as youre connected to their servers then they can do almost whatever they want and who knows what they are capable of. almost all bots gets buggy nowadays so maybe jagex know what they are doing. much like infringing someone's home.

Client rendering is nothing to do with server side information though so its irrelevant. Jagex send you data and your client renders that. If Jagex sends you data and your client chooses not to graphically render this no alarm bells are going off at Jagex HQ. Therefore really only operations you are sending to their server would be monitored and not in reverse (also kind of illegal if they do shit to see what your doing with their data on your side).
fittig Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Ye it can be illegal it depends what the purpose is.
asdttt Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Jagex has nothing directly to detect it. However, if disabling rendering has a major effect on the garbage collector, it's possible they could detect it with: https://pastebin.com/FzdBmKPL You wont get banned for disabling rendering though. Even if the GC check returned some odd numbers, how would they differentiate that from a client like RuneLite.
