Safe to run two bots on same IP?

Featured Replies

Hi is it safe to run two of the SAME bots on same IP if it's a private custom script?

Edited by Steven Jay

Sure. People typically run 1-5 bots per IP address.

You just run the risk of getting a chain ban (Both accounts get banned banned if either one of them are caught for botting).

Proxies are used mostly to lower the chain bans

i mean , you might wanna try it yourself with the same IP and see how it goes.

Where can i buy the best proxies you recommend for cheap?

Google "socks5 proxies" there are tons of providers.
Can search on OSBot forums too, there has been discussion about this before.

Since you're only running two accounts, I'd say you're fine to bot on your home IP no problem.
If you expand to 3+ accounts, you may want a proxy.

Search here or search on google

But like i said ur only doing 2 accs its not that big of a deal unless you're botting on high leveled accounts then use proxies.

People do it all the time.

I assume you're wondering if it's possible long term?
If so, yes, people have done it for long periods of time.

Lots of factors go into bans: the script you use, hours you bot, people who report you, and a lot more, etc.

You only need proxies if you're going to be running 10+ accounts per IP.

Proxies are also needed in the account creation process, other than that they are not needed.

The fewer bots per IP, the better. Some argue that chain bans isn't a thing. I would strongly disagree, the accounts I have used separate IPs for have NEVER been banned at the same time, whereas I've had accounts that were in the process of resting - that suddenly got banned alongside another bot on the same IP.

Happy botting :D

You run a risk of getting all accounts chain-banned base on IP. Other than that, it's as risky as running 1 per.
