Botting Slayer?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I was just wondering how risky it would be to bot some slayer tasks.  The account is around 95 combat, i'd use ande's fighter and usually babysit the bot letting it run for the 1-2 hours needed to complete a task.  I'd take breaks and be pretty smart, but how risky is this?  I know the rhetorical response is that botting is always risky, I guess my question is am I adding extra risk by botting slayer tasks vs pure melee exp.  Any input/previous experiences would be appreciated.

I'm guessing it's a low risk since you're moving from spot to spot instead of staying in one for a very long time, just my guess

I would have to agree.

OT: just make sure if you see a bug in the script that you deal with it asap because sometimes slayer tasks can be tricky.

If I had an account with 95 slayer, I would not bot on it, but that is me.

*super facepalm*

Thanks for correcting me.

Well I got to 55 slayer on my main with Ande's fighter when it was free, and I never was banned so it should be fine.

If people are getting away with botting 100+ hours without being tagged, I wouldn't worry too much with an hour or two every so often.

Why not just play legit? Doing slayer tasks are kinda fun. I'd understand it if you bot repetitive, boring skills such as woodcutting, fletching etc.

You'll be fine botting slayer, it's not a popular skill that botters tend to bot.

As said earlier, I don't think Jagex will catch on since you're moving spots. But, I wouldn't do slayer tasks 20 hours a day, but that's my personal choice. Possibly take around a 20-30 minute break after two or three tasks, it makes it look more legit by far.

As long as the script doesn't bug out a lot and stuff, I'd say no because you are not in the same spot doing the exact same thing for a long period of time.

However, there's always that chance...so don't be careless about it.
