How do people get caught using a cape service?

Does a flag go up with jagex when your account logs in somewhere else or what?

Yes especially if one moment your in the UK at 8 am and then the next your in japan at 8:05 Am

just have the service connect to a VPN generally close to where your IP is located.

Jamflex dont care if you buy your fire cape. I have personally done loads of them. Now Infernos? ooooh boy you better be teamviewering in or you are in for a world of hurt.

I just left the accounts offline for 2+ hours before any services

only infero and have to use teamviewer to not get caught and its big red flag if u first try an infero cape lol

I seen this thing where cape sellers ask you to use a thing called ccproxy and portforward your computer which basically allows them to use your computers IP Address as their proxy meaning they do it on their computer, their internet, but have your normally used IP Address as their proxy. Can't vouch for the validity of this, but it seems reasonably possible. I wish more people did a cape service for pures at a reasonable price....

yes i would say but thats why the only do it for you if you live in the same area or have good enough internet like somebody from the uk wouldnt do  a cape for somebody in the usa

Account sharing isn't against the rules anymore. Check the report page.

I have personally streamed someone's Cape with chat off. User hidden. Stats hidden and a pmod once messaged me saying account sharing is against rules. DCd me and account was locked. Owner unlocked account and I was back caping on the same wave within 10 minutes.... I saw a guy steaming a cape not so long ago and advised him not to stream as that happened to me but he said this isn't against rules anymore check the report page...I checked and didn't see anything about account sharing??? Maybe wrong.

it's assumed that whoever is doing it is getting irl dough for the service. To eliminate that possibility they warn against doing capes for others.

In the cases I've heard of they just take the cape from your account and give you a 2 week. This happened to 2 of my buddies. Now they're in W25 capeless ?

You can always pay to fly the person out and do it for you in your house

On that note, if anyone living somewhere exotic wants an inferno, hmu. Somewhere with a beach preferred.
