Chubby
So I just got into the botting community and have spent the past couple weeks coding my own scripts, and learning the ropes. I've got a server that I will be using to run my bots already. Curious to see how many bots you guys think it can run, and if/where I may have issues. 28 core 2.4ghz 64G Ram I can get more specific details tomorrow such as the model of the CPU and such, but I just know the general specs off the top of my head. Curious if I should go ahead and upgrade it to 128G Ram, and how much each would run. Looking for input as a new user, thanks for the help! Knuckolls
roughly 32 depending on the settings you use.

It all depends on how much RAM your going to need. if you ran in CLI mode you could most likely run even more because they will start up and run but you won't see any windows actually pop up, therefore your usage will *maybe* be lower. **disclaimer** I gave you a rough estimate because I don't bot myself. I'd say a maximum of 50 or so, depending on what exactly you're running.
Chubby
It will definitely be in CLI. Simply for managing the numerous accounts and proxies and such. So I guess I need to upgrade to 128G, since 50 is definitely not the area I want to be in. More comments are always helpful everybody, thanks for the help so far! Anomaly
depends more so on the single core performance of the CPU. We need to know what CPU it is in terms of ram, 300-500mb / account should be the goal, but keep in mind some scripts use more.

CPU will likely be your limiting factor in most cases.

The Ryzen architecture AMD has in production right now is better than intel's offering for multicore performance if you're comparing them by price level. The game runs single core. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/singleThread.html The highest ranking of an AMD chip is rank 84 in single thread performance. AMD is great NEW, but most people spring for older Xeons (I'm going to assume he's using Dual Socket Xeon 2695v2's), which are about $200/ea, because they'll still trump an AMD chip for a lot cheaper. Single threaded performance isn't the deciding factor when running multiple bots.... If you read his posts above, he wanted over 50 accounts. Since not every bot is going to be running on that same exact thread the single threaded performance doesn't matter because it won't even reach peak performance while the rest of the cores are under load as well. That's why the performance of all cores is more relevant when running a farm, and single threaded performance doesn't matter very much unless it's extremely low. For proof of this: An i7 6700k has 2.3k single threaded performance and 11k total average:https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i7-6700K+%40+4.00GHz&id=2565 A dual socket x5675 system has 1.3k single threaded performanec and 12k total average:https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+X5675+%40+3.07GHz&id=1309&cpuCount=2 The dual socket x5675 will run between 80-120 bots while the i7 will struggle past 50. Even though the x5675 system has half the singleThreaded performance of the i7, the 12 cores and 24 threads easily trump the other system. Those numbers were collected by me since I have both of those.
