edit: It's also faster to level "f2p" stats in members (cooking: wines, wc: easier to 3t willows/teaks, mining: 3t 4 iron spot, mlm to get prospector set), as for f2p quests there are better teleports available in members (glory, skills, wealth), stamina pots etc.

Levelling in FTP is a drag, I tried to go mining on a fresh UIM and never logged back in. 

Lol sometimes I feel bad for people botting F2P. I remember when I used to have 250 oak cutters/yew cutters.
 I can't imagine someone trying to play legit through that

Dw. Jagex will do a huge work towards/against F2P Botting once OSRS Mobile comes out.

So true about the eoc part, lol. Single biggest update that killed RS. 

I like bots only because they keep prices low. Without bots the prices would be outrageous.
