"Baby we just made 30 Cents towards our 9,000 dollar goal!"

If you are serious about doing this then forget setting up a farm and go get a second job. It will takes months or even years for you to set up a farm that will be pulling in enough income to support someone through college. Or you could get a second job and for sure make the money in a predetermined amount of time.

Its also a terrible idea to focus all your funds on a "girlfriend". Dating is fleeting, its cool that she made you who you are today and you are thankful for that and stuff but unless you marry her dont waste your time, and it is a waste. Don't stop your own life in order to help someone else live theirs, and if you are the person stopping her from progressing then do the right thing and leave her so you both can grow on your own. You are the only investment that you can depend on at the end of the day.

Wish you luck anyway, just hate seeing someone turn them self into a stepping stool so someone else can reach a higher shelf, Once you get what your after on the shelf then you dont need the stepping stool anymore...
