inababila
What do you think would happen to botting communities, and botting in RuneScape in the next 5 years? Do you think Jagex will have coded a very strong detection system by then that botting will be very difficult like impossible and would distinct, or the community is smarter? I don't need 100pc, and if so, there are moderators here who could differ. You are just spamming and crashing this thread and that is not even funny. Contacting a moderator to remove your post. b0tscape
Botting has been around practicallly since the begining of classic. We've seen packet bots > colour bots > injection bots > reflection bots > injection/ reflection botting. As the botting method has become more complex and elobrate so has Jagex's attempt to cull these bots. Packet bots got packets encrypted. Injection bots had code where it couldn't be read and false code added (I think) and broke botting: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/ClusterFlutterer which broke botting (for a while?) As long as Runescape exists, I'm sure botting will coexit and if you look, they're becoming more tolerable to 'botting'.
T H C
Well the botting scene would just adapt to changes. But I don’t think jagex would benefit from entirely removing the botting community. The way I see it, bots contribute to the economy/rs community and are essential. But they have to keep efforts up to ban us for the sake of legit players. While at the same time giving us enough space to thrive. Could be wrong but that’s what I like to believe. ez11
My best employees are working on developing a neural network solution to any kind of antiban jagex is going to release in the future. Im importing another 50 programmers from 3rd world countries as we speak to expand on the opportunities presented to us by the launch of rsmobile. Blurper
The bans are going more and more rampant currently, but I think they will never FULLY remove botting, because that's impossible in my opinion. You can't just ban a bot based on like 30min gameplay, and I doubt that will ever be the case, because then a lot of legit players would suffer as well
