You would have to use the osbot client's proxy settings. It's the second tab on startup. Different from a VPN, but accomplishes the same thing.

I'd say most people actually prefer to use a proxy or VPS, rather than a VPN.
Typically a VPN will randomly assign you an IP at random, whereas a VPS/Proxy is a fixed IP.

To answer your question, there's little difference between VPN providers, pick whichever one you like.
