I have a question regarding Services.

Featured Replies

Just wondering what type of action would be taken towards the scenario I'm about to show.

First off, lets call the Buyer of the firecape service "Homosexual" and the seller of the firecape service "BigBoyOccazn"

Homosexual takes pictures of a bank that isn't his of a relatively large value such as 100M+. BigBoyOccazn logs onto the account.  BigBoyOccazn doesn't check the bank, he does the firecape, everything went well, firecape is done and logs off. But when Homosexual logs back in, Homosexual states that 95M of his bank is gone. He provides screenshots of his before bank "The fake 100M Screenshotted bank" and the after bank *Which could have been transferred to another account*. How would BigBoyOccazn defend himself from this when someone devised a plan to try to get him banned for something he didn't do?

All everybody else would know is that Homosexual could have had a bank of 100M, and BigBoyOccazn did in fact log onto the account. Nobody knows that BigBoyOccazn did, in fact, take the 95M and nobody knows if Homosexual actually had a 100M bank.

What would happened to BigBoyOccazn?

BASICALLY, Someone is trying to frame BigBoyOccazn for something he didn't do and has evidence of IP logs, before bank and after bank, even though the bank pictures could be fake.

*if this doesn't make sense, I'll try to simplify it. I'm really bad at storytelling :/*

Take a video before giving them acces to your account thats the best way to fix this problem from now on without the video then they dont have to refund. And occazn didnt scam already know.

It's not about me haha :p. It's about a "what if this happens". I usually decline services for people that seem dodgy and I'm scared to do a cape for them because they might do that :c

Vid you doing everything to show proof 100% that you didn't take shit

It'd be a real hassle to do that for everysingle service :p. And I could just pause the recording and log back on to take whatever items were on it, or start the recording after I already cleaned the bank. There's always mutliple probabilities in the service market.

You begin taking a video BEFORE the buyer provides you with the account details, and once the login information is given to you you log into the account on video and go straight to the bank, show the items worn as well as the inventory of the account, and then end the video. This way you have proof of what the account really had when you were given access to it if a dispute arises.

Lets say a video wasn't taken. Who would be at fault here?

Before he gives you user and pass record it, then logg in and go to his bank and look at it.

Save the recording, do your service and done.

I'm not asking how to prevent it. I'm asking what would happen asdkfnasdkl;flasdf;

epic thinking +1

I think if this happened you wouldn't have much more evidence to support yourself other than your reputation and your own word.

If you were being framed I don't think the customer would have anything to substantiate his allegations. If the customer was careful enough to make sure he had evidence of what his account had prior to handing the account over to you then he would make sure to cover any possible problems that may arise with the evidence provided. No one would be held accountable if the evidence is not strong enough to definitively prove what took place. If you want to make sure you don't develop a bad reputation as a result of a false allegation then it would be smart to take a very short video as I described earlier prior to every service. All you would have to do is tell the customer to hold off on giving you the log in information until you've started up your recording software and record for 10-15 seconds.

Occazn would get banned!

I think Occazn should be safe unless the buyer can prove that was his bank right before he gave the information to Occazn, which he can't prove if he only has a picture of his bank. The buyer should not trust Occazn with his bank pin if he does not trust him.

Having to make a whole video of doing the service is such a hassle. He should have the account set up. Have a pin on the account and let you do the firecape. If you did need something, you could use your account to give it and ask for reimbursement. Also, the account shouldnt have that kind of stuff on it should it, especially when letting someone else use it? The service people need protection, but also the buyers. The buyers have it easy because all they have to do is edit an image and they could be "hacked". The service can only be safe by the buyers failsafes. ie BANK PIN.
