Remove PDF Password

Featured Replies

Hello, recently i bought an ebook which has an offline app for android phones, i found out the .pdf file but it is currently restricted opening it without password, is it possible to unlock it?
The reason i want to do this, is to be able to print as many copies as i want.

APK: https://mega.nz/#!axMV2LhB!WnJ19orjTzL1IAnOWMtcQa6EH6kEmoLhqC6Gt7vbVRs
PDF: https://mega.nz/#!T4VxyZQA!5h2J36khnkDElBoHygLatM8E2aw-XMNPCDYo96B3cfc

Thanks

Already tried, as this pdf is password protected so i can't even view it or anything i will need password to unlock the pdf to do anything with it :(

If you're on mac open it up on preview, enable thumbnails then just drag the thumbnail to desktop and boosh not protected.

If not, send me file and i can do

Hi,

Maybe this link can help you:

https://www.google.nl/amp/s/www.howtogeek.com/299457/how-to-remove-a-password-from-a-pdf-file/amp/

It’s also possible with Adobe Acrobat Pro, but I’d doubt you want to pay for the solution. (You should also be able to remove the restricted access with the first option).

This also doesn't work :(

If it's propperly encrypted, then you'll have to brute the password.

I'll try using that but i didn't understand how it works :( or like how is the usage

The whole point of putting a password on a pdf file is securing it. I'm pretty sure you're going to have to bruteforce this one.

Your best bet is giving us the pdf and the apk.

Or using John The Ripper to try and brute the password on the PDF

TIP: extract strings from the apk and load these into JTR as a wordlist.
