Apaec Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I use eclipse, but they're all just as good as each other really. The key is to learn how to use it properly, and stick with it from there. It's worth considering whether or not it's easy to get your projects out of the IDE as well
Woz Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 IntelliJ is likely the most popular, and if you ever decide to move into other industries, it functions the same as Android Studio.
DeathmatchesGG Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 started with eclipse, i think i will continue with it. intelliJ looks nice though.

I choose eclipse but would be willing to change if there are actual reasons to. Or is this a "it's the one I use so it must be better" situation? well the latter is good reason (im mod btw) save ur eyes (also has theme called dracula that is a grey) 2 click export to jar easier organization better ide with the features
Botre Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 For light-weight Java projects (which most bot scripts tend to be) -> Visual Studio Code Heavier Java projects -> IntelliJ. I don't expect Eclipse to catch up with IntelliJ anytime soon.
