Popular
There have been accounts recovered in the past. The format that I will be posting is how people recover their accounts back after they have sold it for 07GP. When you buy an account ASK FOR THIS to be filled out. I know the trade might take a little longer, but it will help ensure that you keep the account that you're paying for. Would be great if a a Mod+ Could move this template to the Account Trading Section, hope this helps at least one person not get scammed. You can have the money held by a middle man/mod/super mod/admin, whichever is available for help and you trust. Then once he gives you the information, attempt at recovering the account yourself, once you get the account, the money will be past to the account seller. if jagex denies your claim. He lied. so you get your money back from the middle man TEMPLATE • The name of the account. • Your reason for contacting us. • When you last successfully logged into the game with that account (please be specific if you can, giving a precise date if possible) • Where the account was created? (include the country) • When the account was created? (please be as specific as possible, ideally providing month and year) • The name of the Internet Service Provider (ISP) you used when you created the account? We need the name of the company who provide your internet services, not the name of your web browser • The ISP that you are using now? • The last time you changed your password? • If you have ever given us your address please provide it, remember to include Zip Code/Post Code • If you have JAG enabled on your account, please give us the answers to your questions • Answer 1 • Answer 2 • Answer 3 • Answer 4 • Answer 5 • If you have have recoveries, please provide us with any of your answers. • Any Billing details you have that help prove who you are – good examples are the names of credit card holders or transaction ID’s • Your IP address - if you don’t know it, type “IP Address” into Google and your address will appear above the results • The new email you would like registered to your account. Popular
Seems fullproof. Till some motherfucker gets scammed lawl. Safer than just getting an email and password that can be easily recovered.

Ricky
Pointless. Anyone can recover an account sold. Just depends who you sell it to. Also, why would you give someone your Ip adress??? Are you asking for a ddos after selling the account?
Resmurf
Sometimes the account doesn't even sell, such a waste of time.
ziiink
If they are planning on recovering the account, wouldn't they just give fake information? You can always ask a Middleman to hold the money untill you've done a security/recoveries check
Anne
You can just let the MM hold the money till you check and change recovery questions and e-mail etc. I guess that would be the easiest way.
lolmanden
Good idea on this. I would support this idea, but its not so important, because emails are set to accounts. And if someone hacked they could check the IP.
