Tj2907 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 For the past 2 weeks I have been botting on different accounts, and the ones that I get the bot to log in for me always get banned. If I manually log in and out of the accounts, they last wayyyy longer. Perhaps it's because I'm not instantly typing my username and password? I'm pretty sure I saw/heard somewhere the Jagex can detect bots logging in. Thoughts?
Lewis Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 the login handler doesn't insta type, its character by character

Night Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I feel like Jagex detects bots based off what color shirt they choose 7
Jordie Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I think logging in manually help a lot, I botted one account that is finished. Did 90-99 str and 86-94 magic and 64-94 ranged. It was an account with a old bot ban. Now I'm botting a new account, lets c how it goes.
scruffyryl Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) I only bot on a few accounts, so I always log in manually so I can't help you there. But it's possible your ip has been flagged. Which yes, Jagex watches those accounts from the start. Forgot to add, a lot of streamers use a keybind to login. So I would say that the auto login doesn't hurt. Edited March 10, 2017 by scruffyryl
gotchabruh19933 Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 tbh, it doesnt really type that fast. I can type my login faster than that because ive done it so many times. The better question is, can jagex detect what type of client you are logging in from?

If they detected it, they wouldn't let bots run for months without bans.

They can at least detect if it's a modified client apparently, unless you're using mirror mode of OSBot. 19 minutes ago, Jeune Padawan said: lol we would all be banned within seconds then. But I suppose they may track you a little bit faster, not sure though as there are A LOT of people using OSBuddy.. Edited March 10, 2017 by Reveance
The Undefeated Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 (edited) There was a reddit post from a Jmod talking about a system which triggers after logging in with a bot. EDIT: Edited March 10, 2017 by The Undefeated
decoding Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 They can tell you're using a modified client [this is confirmed] but they can't tell which client IIRC. Detection is all server-side. Take that as you please
Dark_Mist Posted March 10, 2017 Posted March 10, 2017 I never have the bot login for me because of that exact reason, more of a superstition but yeh 1 hour ago, The Undefeated said: There was a reddit post from a Jmod talking about a system which triggers after logging in with a bot. EDIT:
