Random.dat patch is not working in -norandoms mode

Featured Replies

@Alek I appreciate you telling me 100 times that this isnt the case, or that it can be done via removing / overwriting / making chmod 0444 the random.dat on the system, but this is not the case and I'd hope we can open this up as I've talked to many other scripters who are having the problem and they say they have informed you and have been met with the same response as me.

Explanation: When using -norandoms the debugger incorrectly states that the random.dat has been patched

This is not the case, I have also tried playing with my system. And many others who I shall not name have tried to help me / do this themselves.

Possible fixes: Allow a -plzpatch CLI command, or enable random.dat patch in every mode (I dont see why anyone would ever want it not to be enabled).

Thanks!

I have nothing to do with random.dat patching since I didn't write the code for it. Wait for another dev to look at it.

I use norandoms everyday and it works fine for me also just some thought i'd mention that. @Zach

Does not work for me on multiple PC's - limited to 1 account per world per proxy. Willing to share any more details needed over PM with developers.

Just tested it with -norandoms and it worked fine for me. Can you provide complete details of your setup (e.g. all commands you pass, etc.)?

Thanks for testing.

My OS is Ubuntu 16.04

A sample command I pass is

java -jar "OSBot.jar" -login osbotuser:osbotpass -bot none:none:0000 -script ABC:none -allow lowcpu,norender,norandoms -world 308 -mem 550

Do you guys use linux? @Xylate I believe you had this problem as well
