Not wanna call myself a "hater" but i wanna have some answers

1. why is @ProjectPact still a mod ? 
 - hes not active at all
 - i feel like hes only mod to advertise his scripts 
 - never seen him in chatbox either 
 -

2. @Jordan how come hes a super mod right away ? 
 - he resigned as a mod in past, doenst that mean he at least should have a small trail period ? 
 - I mean like yes today he was active, but before that like really.. ? 

 

I would love to hear other people's opinion on this as well as staff..
Again i'm not hating against these guys, but some thing that happen atm with staff i just don't understand

Sorry for posting my first one in wrong section i guess. 

also please do not hate on either of these mods, im sure there good guys.

Yeah. I was surprised as well to receive Super, but very gracious for it so I understand what you're saying entirely. I've been semi-active the last few months and I think I've integrated back into the community decently well. During my inactive period here I had been gaining a lot of experience in many different ways, but specifically with IP.Board. I applied for Trial Mod like anyone else, but detailed what I had been doing while I wasn't at OSBot, and how my experiences could help OSBot. I've learned a lot about IP.Board and faced a lot of the issues/bugs that come along with IP.Board 4 and I think I can provide a lot of value as a Super Mod. I understand it was sudden, but it wasn't without good reason, and I hope to prove that to you all with the proper amount of time.

I think by receiving super mod, Jordan will probably be way more active we can't judge his future activity based on the time he spent as ex-staff...

You can't really say that...

however, I don't think there was any other options other than Jordan? As far as I am aware, I believe all the good mod candidates are in my skype chatbox, and we're all voided from being able to be a mod because of it

Ofc I can lol, he was ex staff he had no responsibilities to tend to on forums why would he be active 7-8 hours a day with nothing to do on forums other than community purposes. Now he has a responsibility position that requires him to be active which will urge him to do so.

It's hard to give an analogy on this with anything other than a relationship. Let's say you were in a relationship with a girl, and you guys broke up because it wasn't working out because you got bored of it. For 10 months you had very little contact. Then 10 months later you were like hey, it's different now, let's get back together!
It doesn't really work that way.

That's why what you said originally doesn't really work. Sure, this is a relationship and feelings are involved rather than someone just being busy in life (or maybe he was bored)
But that's the only issue I really see with Jordan instantly skipping trial period.
Side note: Since a lot of people seem to be salty towards me, before anyone's like "omg ur just bitching because he got mod and u didnt!@! haha!" nah, I didn't apply, just explaining why someone might question Jordan's promotion

Only difference is your girlfriend actually needs you now and also wants you to get together + if he does go inactive which I doubt he will now with supermod, he can just be removed again or demoted.

Yes... but the purpose of the original post here is questioning it the promotion... You posted a reason supporting his promotion, and I told you why it isn't a good reason.
It's also an analogy, which all have some differences.
