also when i was a kid went around with this funicular with my godmother and ive seen banknotes where the funicular goes, now the guards or whatever didnt let me or she go there because it is 'dangerous' ( the thing goes every 5minutes so there is a 5minute session when you are safe but whatever ) and i witnessed the guy going there and pocketing my proceedings and he lied straight into our faces, he was like ' nothing was there' well how powerful a six years old and a woman can be, i felt wronged, divested of my foundings:(

If I saw someone unknowingly drop some valuables I would return em without hesitation. But if I found some stuff on the ground and I know there's no way I can find the owner, the shit is mine. Aint gonna report that shit cause its probably gonna be taken by some corrupt or douchebag authority person instead of looking for the real owner
