getInventory().getAmount after world hopping

Featured Replies

1. OSBot Version (do NOT put "current version", be specific)

.102 and previous versions (not a new bug)

2. A description of the issue. Include relevant logs.

When the client world hops, it has issues with returning inventory as empty

For example: i have my script set to:

buy items from shop if above 1k gold in inv

if shop has 0 items world hop

if under 1k in inv, sell items

It will world hop due to shop having 0 stock, then instantly call my selling case due to inventory containing less than 1k gold (even though it has 100k+ for example.

3. Are you receiving any errors in the client canvas or the logger?

no

4. How can you replicate the issue?

Have a script world hop, then

if (getInventory().getAmount("Coins") <= 1000) {
}

5. Has this issue persisted through multiple versions? If so, how far back?

as far back as i have used the bot (.95 and further)

It's because when you world hop it switches to the world hop tab and when it logs into a different world it doesnt switch back to your inventory tab it remains on the world hop tab.

Simple fix:

Swap back to inventory tab

solved this over a month ago.

was a lot more too it than swap back to inventory. This was my first attempt to fix, and it did not work.

i had to create my own sleep until X widget was open, then try to open inventory.

as if you done

hop > open inv

it would glitch out and not open inv due to it being unable to change tabs for a split second between hopping.

hopping itself gave another problem with the loading screen
