Mister Slyther Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) What do you guys think? I did quite a bit of research on studio logos and designing logos modernly with the idea of simplicity. The theme is "city" and the light grey city part, is basically the reflection of the darker city. I'm stressing on the logo because obviously its the most important thing of starting any organization. 2 3 4 - FIXED THE CENTERING OF THE VECTOR AND SLOGAN IS NOW NOT BOLD Edited November 16, 2016 by Mister Slyther 2

Mister Slyther Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 Looks sleek af. Looks professional but also FRICKEN TIGHT. oh thanks! is it bad to be tight/compact? do u think its less visually appealing?
lepurc Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 oh thanks! is it bad to be tight/compact? do u think its less visually appealing? There's enough in the size to make it appealing but no too much in it to be confusing. I think the size is perfect 1
Aiban Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) ASHSTUDIOS was kinda hard to read maybe some space inbetween? Looks sick Edit:: Maybe using a lighter colour like the shadow Edited November 16, 2016 by Aiban
Plank Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) is it a vector? I would make the city a little bit bigger, Had to get up on the monitor to make out details, the size of the text overshadows it IMO. Edited November 16, 2016 by Plank
Deceiver Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 the vectors are dumb and misplaced get bolder font 1
EffectArts Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Lower the opacity of the city reflection a bit. I'd work with the "i" and the idea behind it further
Mister Slyther Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) Lower the opacity of the city reflection a bit. I'd work with the "i" and the idea behind it further added a 3rd version, which I believe is cleaner and better. lowered opacity as well. edit: 4th version added which is the best i believe Edited November 16, 2016 by Mister Slyther
EffectArts Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 4th looks good now. Only thing that bothers me now is the "I". Try chaning it back to regular letter and leave the "T" as it is now. Works well when its centered and gives a good focal point to the logo. Now the "I" drags your eyes attention to the right side of logo.
Dex Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 You did both a logotype and a logomark and incorporated both of them in one logo which makes it look a bit cluttered. You can create both of course but what I would do is take elements of both of them incorporate it into one mark and don't make the logotype too complicated, for example incorporate the pen or the brush into the skyline and create the logomark with a suitable logotype font. Just a quick mockup to illustrate: https://i.gyazo.com/e16537c863c1daab305cded527f27299.png
Fruity Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 (edited) Id have made the pen nip the A with a bold font but looks alright For logos i think its best to have either type or images/icon not too keen on both Edited November 16, 2016 by FruityBug
