rx8 is more fun to drive imo, but pretty small inside.

If i had to choose i'd pick the bmw

Mazda rx model cars have rotary engines, they last about 100,000 KM (do a conversion for miles) before the engine shits itself (on average) unless you're buying the RX-8 for performance and a bit of fun then I'd go with that, if you'd prefer a reliable daily drivers car settle with the Series 3. :)
