So I'm going to Uni this September for Graphic Design.

The course leader asked me to come up with a concept to show how I feel, so I came up with this:

He said make sure delivering a message is priority, so I did what I can to do so. If you notice any major errors, please let me know. This is due to submit during the first week of uni.

I really like the right half, left half needs a bit more work imo.

Don't take this too personal, just some cnc about the things I would change if I could:

First of all, I don't know what tool you used to cut out the render, I'm guessing magic wand or just similar color selection with some tolerance to get rid of the white but in this case I recommend to use the vector path selection to make the edges a little bit smoother so you can avoid the rended looking pixelated like at the ear for example: https://i.gyazo.com/5c16d7a92d4e258b2e2cafa5d6a8e5f2.png

Secondly, there's a little bit lack of consistency: https://i.gyazo.com/5272604025a9d991f094a1d9995256d1.png on the forehead you blend it slightly but at his mouth there's only a rough transition.

And finally: https://i.gyazo.com/7c0690f25b7d401f80dcf3c2d4b4074b.png here you should either go for a completely green landscape without the street or make the street gradually blend with the landscape because the line is too straight compared to the rest of the design.

These are just the things I personally would've done different but it's of course up to you how you create it since it's supposed to represent how you feel and not me.

Thanks your feedback.

I don't feel offended no worries man.

The render is actually transparent.

Looks better :) just the ear thing is still there but that's a small detail.

I just came to think of something that you could try for this and that is making it look like the 2 halfs of the face are stitched together.

Anyway, you don't have to, just letting my mind race for a bit lol.

Nah its fine man, that is a good idea. Can make it stitched instead of a line like that.

Thanks man!
