Guys, make sure you don't start the script while already in a pest control game it may mess up the script, I also added error handling for paint and so the paint will not disappear anymore, and if the script ever encounters an error, it will not interrupt the script and the script will know what to do and continue :D Just waiting on the new version to be updated :D

 

As for errors, the new update (v9.0) has many bugfixes and error preventions, just waiting for the update to be registered - it will definitely be done today since many hours have passed ^^ biggrin.png Apologies for any inconvenience everyone, I know how annoying it can be sad.png

Noticed it is not prioritizing spinner, or portal over monsters. I think its still not using special attack. It does seem to run vastly smoother than 8.0

Latest version will now be v10.0 biggrin.png Will edit this post with full changelog ASAP. This new update will most likely be the final version to make the script flawless ^^ biggrin.png

 

EDIT:

 

New update (v10.0)

 

- Special attacks finally re-added

- Added an update for boat boarding

- Spinners are now prioritized in stages, with more focus

- If portal spawns while in combat (in fight_portal mode) the script will stop combat and attack the portal

- Spinners are now attackable during fight_portal mode and ignore the 'fight while portal down' system

- Added a few extra stability and error handlers

- Script will run to any portal or at least center upon game starting

 

Guys, spinners will only be attacked if less than 20 tiles away, otherwise the script will just continue what it was doing. I may add a new option to completely focus on spinners if necessary

 

Also if using VIP client and there is an error, try a client restart or lower the reaction time, it can improve the performance of the script

This version if working succesfully (only got v9 now haha) will address all the problems I had with the script - I wasnt' going mention that it prioritizes spinners too much, but it's good you noticed that! 

This one is the most important:  - If portal spawns while in combat (in fight_portal mode) the script will stop combat and attack the portal


I'll let you know how it runs when it eventually gets through the system!

I like to pick things wrong :D 

1; it's missing the amount of points earned / total points. 

 

2, a big one for me. if for example it's trying to attack something outside a gate but then the gate gets closed it will click again and moonwalk / run all the way around the map to the next open gate to try and attack that monster. Maybe change it to where if target is more than 10/15 tiles away find new monster to attack? 

Also I'll trial green drag script if you want :s i fancy getting banned :P

Quick prayer isn't working very well, seems to turn prayer on when not in combat and turn it off when in combat :p. Might be better for the time being to turn it on when engaging in the first combat and then just leaving it on?

 

Special attacks working decently, recognises that dds is the spec weapon and uses it, but switches to inventory every time instead of just using the 4 specs up.

 

Script is kind've slow to respond to changes on portal mode however the other 2 pest control scripts have about this reaction time so may be due to the nature of the script/game mode.  Fight monsters mode is pretty nice, but I feel like players report you or suspect you of botting. Overall portal mode needs some work if I'm honest. 

 

Oh I've forgot to mention - every time it fights a brawler it will attack, then click on the minimap, and repeat. Has been present since I started using the script. 

 

Boarding the boat seems slower than before. wub.png

- Hmm I will increase the speed of boat boarding, made it 3 times slower in last update

- Should I make the script immediately run to the next portal if the current target portal is destroyed?

- As for special attacks, will add an update to prevent tab switching to inventory until special energy reaches 0

- As for brawler, will add an update for brawlers to make the script either stay in combat or evade the brawlers

- Quickprayer will be fixed ASAP

- Total points will be re-added to the script

- Next update will have a system to fix the current tile destination and prevent the script from running around all over the place
