A week ago I ordered everything, only thing I am waiting on is the GPU, I also might be switching out the case. You bros lemme know what you think.

Notes:

So this build I am looking for a build that will last me the next 2-3 Years and do 4k gaming as well as VR. This build will also be used for streaming, However it will be porting the stream from this computer to my old computer, than my old computer uploading. So basically using my old computer as a stupidly expensive video card.

 

The graphics card is obviously the hardest part to get currently, they have only gone on sale once, only 100 was for sale and literally the second the button turned to "Add to Cart" I clicked it and it said the item was sold out. So I am going to wait it out till the next shipment (I've been told 2 weeks by Gigabyte) but they are also releasing a watercooler Gigabyte Xtreme 1080.

 

I am going to buy one card to begin with since my streaming room isn't going to be finished for another month (Contractors amirite?) but after the room is done I am going to buy the 2nd (Hopefully they are far more readily available)

 

Not going to stream for money, don't need it, but I enjoy playing games with people watching me and being social. So win win.

 

Also the case MIGHT be getting swapped out for this case (Won't be out till July):

Also I have heard the watercooled 1080s are bulk as hell, and if that is true I might have to upgrade the MB as well. But we shall see all in good time.

You said your going to be streaming? - you should link us yeah

That 1080 is crazy, how much did everything end up costing?

 

$1400 with what I have bought currently. I still have to buy the GPUs and the 4k TV (I game on TVs not monitors)

 

So prob another $800 for the TV, another $700 for the Card.

 

So it'll be sitting around 3k, then when I buy the second one I will be at 3.7k. Also paying for a friend to professional build it and do the wire management and everything, plus I might be going with a whole water cooling scheme so prob around 4k all said and done.

 

Also I will probably buy 2-3 monitors for auxillary monitors for streaming and everything. This is the first time I actually totalled what I am spending never even thought about it lol. Actually adding up on me didnt think it was that much

with your components, I would definitely be going for a whole water cooling scheme. I have a 770 and a i7 4770k, overclocking both made such a difference

Its going to look so nice, are you buying lights ect or just going low key beast?

Nope doing the hold color scheme with fans and everything. Which is why I might be switching the cases but the Gigabyte 1080 Xtremes come with Orange accents that you can;t change. 

 

And if I do end up switching out cases I will switching out motherboards for this one

The only other MB I can find that would match the color scheme is $500, and I am not spending that on a motherboard.

Yeah another 80 bucks ram is cheap as fuck. I might as well

If you want sexy Ram buy Corsair Dominator Platinum, and then you can add light bars to it. Looks really nice.

You should be able to sell your 980ti for 500 when the 599 1080s come out thats nothing to upgrade
