You’re probably on mirror mode read the main thread and you will see it says not to use mirror mode for any kind of trapping, only for non-trap hunting

lol, that's why you were supposed to have enabled the GE part before the quest so it would have purchased everything you needed before the quest started EDIT: On the GUI, there is a part next to the quest selection to enabled purchasing the quest items
