True . Haswell is definetly better. The power consumption is also down a bit right? On Microcenter they are offering a haswell i5 processor for $159.99. Im probably going to get it
If you could somehow siphon some of that money for me then well that would be great. Anyways, if you only bot then you probably dont need a great graphics card. A $100 Radeon 7770 would do.

Take a look at the build I sent you with the 8-core processor . If your budget is truely 100% unlimited then go for a hexacore i7 or maybe a xeon . That would of course cost $1000 for the cpu alone lol

I have the same one for my home theater pc (I use it mainly for streaming vids on my tv). Its ok for low- medium setting yes but once you go for high settings it starts to get unplayable.
Nope. I have an Amd Apu pc. The graphics are actually only integrated. Maybe low-medium settings at 720p.
Any chance your friend can "share" with me :p ?
