Huge banwave incoming, I wouldn't worry at all, once Jagex are back from their holidays we're all dead meat.

Have bans been quiet or something lately? I only ask because there seems to be a lot more bots per world compared to the last 2-3 months and other factors

Actually it wouldn't fix the economy, you need a certain degree of botters to make an economy flourish and not be insanely expensive with such a short supply, if you don't believe me go and bot any other game out there or learn the economy, it's the same for every game. Basically you need a good harmony between the two and find a good balance, I understand you are referring to the osbot community but you only have to be here a few weeks to realise free goldfarming scripts = lots of bans, that's why I struggle to understand why people don't get that, it's really simple logic. Free goldfarming script: 1) Scripter gets money 2) We as a community get more money in the long run 3) Scripter protects this area from more bans 4) The market won't be destroyed 5) Scripter gives Jagex less of an excuse to watch this area 6) Said Scripter is not promoting Jagex to ban even harder because of scripts like this that damage their game more than usual being 100% free. 7) Script is actually believe it or not, helping this community by controlling usercount in a goldfarming area. I could go on and on This script being free: None.

It does benefit everyone, it controls ban rates and protects the economy of the game, in turn helping the whole community, not even botters, but every single person within RS.

How can anyone say that this should be a free market and certain scripts shouldn't be premium and there shouldn't be limitations set is helping the community? I think a lot of you guys need a wake up call and realise this isn't 2010, do you understand what Jagex are trying to pull off nowadays? They are trying to massacre the lot of us and are doing a bloody good job at the moment, for us to control the issue that is pissing them off and why they invented the bot watch system in the first place would be the BEST possible thing to do. You want to help along goldfarming places getting packed? Economy getting fucked up more and more? Why not charge a price and help everyone? Come on guys think logically for a second, we should be trying to protect ourselves, not give Jagex more of an excuse to hand us an ass whooping.

That's stupid though, this place is going to get raided by jagex in a few days, making goldfarming methods for free really helps no one and only drives attention to areas by a company that want's rid of them. I honestly never understood why people make goldfarming methods for free, it basically ends up like this. 1) Release for free 2) Tons of accounts start farming 3) Items drop making original profits drop 4) More accounts start farming 5) Items decreased more and area is now even less profit due to being packed and less mobs killed/items collected 6) Jagex keep an eye on said area 7) Bans start flying all over the place, leaving people with accounts closed and a shitty method 8) Place is empty again 9) Start from 1) and repeat, creating a vicious full circle 10)No one gains anything and this script is now mostly pointless Tell that to the leechers who beg for free goldfarming scripts. The amount of hate I get for not making some of my scripts free is unreal. Although there will always be leechers, Runescape in particular have a vast amount of leechers due to the nature of the community. You only need to go and buy a paid bot for another game and realise what I mean, back in the days of diablo 3 there were guys who would shell out $30 a license per account and spend tons on full farms. On the other hand you have a lot of young people in RS who are not only impatient and think everything should be free, but also lack money and maturity to understand why a lot of scripts should be premium. Because you stole the name of a well known hacker, called Gh0st. A few years ago he did something similar to what 5uck did but to RSBot, he hacked into the server and inserted his own infected version of the RSBot client, which in turn hacked tens of thousands of users. I remember that, probably one of the most dramatic days I've ever seen on a forum, everyone getting cleaned to fuck and gh0st getting threatened with legal action. holy shit I miss the old days, when all that you worried about was getting hacked and not banned lol.

What a nasty person, I was part of having my personal information stolen a few months ago and let me tell you it was a HORRIBLE experience from start to finish, not just the debt that racked up in my bank account but all the ringing I had to do with phone calls to most of my online accounts including paypal and knowing that some guy out there was having the time of his life with my money, I barely slept at night. I wish all the people who was caught up in this my best wishes, It takes a truly twisted individual to commit such thievery on a big scale, I really do hope legal action is taken against him. I purchased his insane druids as well, I feel rather shit I actually funded this guy.
