  1. Just wanted to add my 2p, It's not just to do with multiple accounts, I have had accounts banned with 1 IP per account and my friends main's have been hit too with this kind of ban. (No other accounts). A gold farming ban just because of multiple accounts per IP is a common misconception, it seems to be the name for their server side detection type of ban

But the script would still be the same, it doesn't matter what script you use it completely depends on how that script works or how the client reacts with it. Switching scripts would not matter when all scripts are botlike. Randomisation must exist within the script/client itself, not changing from one detectable script to another.. Their server side detection resides on how the client reacts with the script, the logic in which they depend on to ban you will not change if you change that something that is recognised as a bot to something else that is recognised as a bot.

This wouldn't work as the pattern for each script that is changed is still the same. Still an idea though that could be placed into the broader spectrum of things.

Love your posts, you actually get it. To everyone else I have been gold farming since early 2007 and have farmed the shit out of most games, trust me when I say the only way to get past jagex server side detection is to go beyond what other bots have created in fighting bot watch and create a very complex and random system that if every single user was compared to eachother they would be completely indistinguishable from one another, no exceptions. You only have to read the pdf article posted in this thread to understand, this is how most major companies ban bots and what I have dealt with through many years on other games. If we was able to achieve something like this we would be not one, but several steps ahead of jagex due to the fact they rely completely on server side detection and trying to make a complete anti botting software to combat us on the client side would be extremely hard on their part and probably take a very long time due to the limited software they have to work with, with 07.

You need an "anti ban" that is completely random to each user. Due to how Jagex anti botting system is currently getting better and better and how they read on patterns and behaviours that are repeated over and over we need more than just "check skills every 5 mins" "click this every 2 mins" ect. If anything this would get us banned even more due to it being a repeated process that everyone would be doing and not random at all. It needs to be more complex, like using different walking tiles to get to a certain point every single trip.. ect. Traditional anti ban's made by scripter offer absolutely nothing and are a joke, anyone experienced in gold farming and botting knows this. ^^ Guy above me gets it.
  6. Most likely, and with everyone seeming to recommend them without even thinking I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex personally get every subnet from every VPN company and blacklist it. I have been on the end of tons of bans with VPN's, honestly your own IP is safer at this point lol
  7. Why would you recommend using a VPN?? even premium ones I can bet you right now will be shared by other botters, Jagex are going to be blacklisting the shit out of them. Just for your info I have been on the end of bans with a VPN, even ones that are not well known at all, you need something other people DO NOT USE.
  8. Was this today? Very sorry for your loss buddy, Runescape botting is not what it was I'm afraid.
  9. 100% agree with you buddy. We can only hope at this point, but maybe it will take many more months of bans for everyone to start believing.
  10. You're a breath of fresh air, exactly what I was thinking. Adding onto what you said I think when a working webwalking method comes into play from the developers, there should be more than one way to get to a certain point, just like a human would.. you wouldn't just go to each exact tile every single time. Honestly the whole botting scene of Runescape need's a kick up the backside, p****bot have an ambitious idea in how to combat against pattern detection and I'm not sure if they will pull it off, but at least they get it and how this whole situation of how bans have changed over the last years compared to pre eoc. The whole community of Runescape botting and it's stubbornness doesn't help anyone either, there is still people out there who don't even believe in botwatch in 07.. Thing's need to change and very very fast, otherwise we all be left in the dust, similar to how p****bot was when rs3 first came out. It really is sad, I see Jagex improving their detection methods but hardly anything from any botting developers, I really don't care about all the pretty stuff, I want changes that protect us from bans and give us that edge again, Jagex are in control and it honestly sucks.
  11. Can't even believe there's any sort of debate with this, obviously choose the highest possible. Barrows is a method that needs to be protected and seeing as there is many scrubby leechers on this forum (surprisingly more than other botting forums) It gives you another reason to put this script at the highest pricepoint.
  12. You can't find a good one, VPN's run on a certain subnet that is extremely easy for Jagex to trace and ban. They could easily goto 20 VPN providers right now who are paid subscriptions, get the subnets from that site and completely blacklist every single IP within a few hours. Your best bet is a home dynamic IP, you need something that no one has touched and I can bet you a pretty penny nearly every VPN provider out there has been tested or used by a Runescape botter.
  13. Yes pattern detection does exist and is only going to get better, just like the LCP detection blizzard have in WOW. I got flamed for stating this, just like I got flamed that Jagex were off their holidays from Monday and banwaves are going to start kicking again. People are mostly clueless on this forum and many other botting sites, It's just the way it is in the Runescape community, I doubt many people will even read those articles
  14. With multiple banwaves reported since their return and an apparent anti botting team "meetup" next week it for definite now that Jagex are back in action, markets will now begin to stabilise again and certain items are already steadily starting to rise. Christmas botting was fun! Goodluck to everyone in the fight in 2014.
  15. Probably, depends how good their client is though. They have some ridiculously sharp scripters on that site, but after pb's fiasco with rs3 I'm not entirely sure I'd feel safe using their 07 client.

If IP flagging truly existed your main would of got hit too, merch bots wouldn't exist either. It's mostly pattern detection to be honest, if you're botting fishes on say 6/7 accounts and the last account is merching and your fishing accounts get hit, your merching account won't, I've had this happen to me and so have many others, they look for similarities between a batch of accounts.
  17. Ratz241 replied to Maxi's topic in Releases
Honestly Maxi, take your time in releasing this, it's going to be a huge release and you need to make sure you have everything covered. You have some really extensive competition from your fiercest rival and you need to make sure osbot 2 is amazing, I have faith in you though, I know a lot of people do too, but honestly regardless the client will talk for itself, that's all it boils down to really. Can't wait for the release.
  18. Indeed, they share the same policies as most game companies out there, we pay their salaries, we scratch their back they scratch ours ect. However... this does not hold as true as it did in the rsbuddy era, when you could run 40 frost dragon bots for 6 months and never get caught. They are starting to come up with new strategies, including the infamous bond's that were released a few months ago, the wheel of fortune, increased memberships ect. they are finding ways of revenue to replace ours and as such do not depend on us as much as they used to, the need is however still there.. ever so slightly. I do however, find it completely hilarious that there are users on this forum and others that think Jagex couldn't hand our own asses to us, they could and have already shown they are extremely capable of doing so, november and first half december bans of 07 proved this to a degree and let's not even get started with rs3, p****bot's defences got destroyed and that bot became a joke for months (not sure what it's like now) instant bans and no mercy. Saying you're better than Jagex doesn't make you cool guys, they could ban you anytime they want and are easily capable of doing so.. just thought I'd throw that paragraph in there and agree with you Hashplant.
  19. That is only half true, they do have an automated system in place but they also do manual work as well, also their automation detection does have a degree of manual work behind it similar to how blizzard and other companies work, it will flag your account and it is upto them to make sure through manual investigation whether small or large, that they hit the right person. They also have a botbust team in place (botbusting moderate bans) to hit those that weren't picked up by their botwatch detection software, as it isn't completely flawless, no anti botting software is to be honest. This is my theory through going through around 500+ accounts since 07 release, but is already being concluded as banwaves are starting to get high once again, best of luck people. Then please tell me, how come people were about to bot through the christmas period and only upto now is the banrate starting to increase again? If it was purely based on their own code, markets would NOT have been flooded the past fortnight, in fact, farms would of been automatically smacked and everything would of been the same. They have an automated system in place but also do manual work as well, it's a combination of both.
  20. Because it is when majority of work holidays end. A lot of bans being reported on Advertising other bots isn't allowed. today guys, druids was practically dead at 5pm today, I know that place suffered a quite meaty banwave with more to come, expect herbs to rise once again once supply is dried out like before xmas (will probably take around a week before mules are dry) These forums have been down so there hasn't been much report today, though I'm sure banwaves were with osbot as well. At this rate gold price will also go back to its original rates before Christmas, Jagex are coming in hard and are rather pissed.
  21. notsureifsrs You stuck in 2010? Jagex destroyed all rs3 bots and can ban whenever the hell they want in 07.
  22. I got quite a few that aren't hit yet too, I think majority of thing's will start to pick up from next monday as the weekend starts in a day. You can already start to see less bots around certain areas though, they've obviously started cleaning up.
  23. Just to let everyone know Jagex are now starting to get back into their grove, with the holiday season and new year over, today marks the day where we will start to go back to pre Christmas banrates, majority of the staff are starting to return today with the rest returning this coming Monday. I have been in touch with a few contacts and they have already had bans after a nice 10 day or so run with no hits, I have also been on the end of a few bans and have started to see areas becoming less packed again. Goodluck to everyone, it was fun while it lasted but Jagex are pissed and will want to get 07 back to the way it was before their holiday break, on the flip side though I hope we have all come to realise that bans are actually needed to keep this economy afloat, supply has been drastically far too much the last fortnight or so, practically all markets were flooded.
