  1. you'll be able to bot far more if u do it in a smarter way... bot for around a few hours a day, if it's your primary acc, play as much as you bot and you'll unlikely get a ban nearly as rapidly. even just doing it for a few hours a day, if you're using a relatively well-made script and get lucky as well, you'll probably we able to last up to a month, or even more, without getting banned
  2. no one really knows how jagex detects bots, exactly. anyone that tells you otherwise is either speculating or lying. of course i don't know 100% how mirror mode works, because i wasnt involved in making it, but what's been said by developers is that it takes more computer resources (meaning its more intensive for the computer to run), but as far i've experienced, i've extensively/continuously played on the stealth injection client and it hasnt made any difference in terms of bans vs when ive used osbuddy or the 07 client
  3. people say that, but i've never seen anything that substantiates the claims. mirror mode removes potential traces on the client at the cost of computer resources. if you think that it'll help you, go for it. in reality though, i dont think it does much - if you're doing the same exact repetitive actions for 8 hours every day, you're going to get caught regardless
  4. mirror mode rarely works for macs. i heard a couple people got it like 1 week ago, but i tried for a solid 1-2hrs and couldnt get mirror mode to work for me. would recommend just sticking with injection because they're basically the same thing

    Is time passing exceptionally slowly for everybody now? I feel as though the more I work and the less i sleep, the more time slows, almost like it's the same day everyday. Yet I still don't have enough time to do everything.
  13. this goes some beyond the scope of what i've done (i'm in a post-ap high school course), but from what i understand this is very interesting good shit dude
  14. changed it to this - probably uglier this way, but i think it's more in-line with what he wanted char* temp; int cmp; char** pOne = pWords; char** pTwo = pWords; while(*pOne) { while(*pTwo) { cmp = strcmp(*pOne, *pTwo); if(cmp > 0) { temp = *pTwo; *pTwo = *pOne; *pOne = temp; } else if(cmp == 0) { *pTwo = NULL; } pTwo++; } pOne++; }
  15. you could be right - he said this assignment was about learning more about pointers. what were you thinking about how this might be done by dereferencing pointers?
  16. we're designing a pretty short program, and because we rushed into C just a few days ago (we did assembler for a few weeks before), he doesnt expect us to be efficient, but he wants us to be able to think through prompts like this. i think it works, but i cant test it because i'm having strange issues with my compiler - aside from the (very bad) efficiency, does it look alright?
  17. This code is designed to work, not necessarily to be efficient. If it does not work, point me in the right direction, please, or tell me how (and why!) a certain fix would work. This code is meant to delete duplicates in an array of strings and order them by collating sequence. Example: If given the strings "africa", "asia", "africa", "europe" you would get back: "asia", "africa", "europe" void sortUnique (char** pWords) { char* temp; int cmp; for(int i = 0; pWords[i]; i++) { for(int j = (i+1); pWords[j]; j++) { cmp = strcmp(pWords[i], pWords[j]); if(cmp > 0) { temp = pWords[j]; pWords[j] = pWords[i]; pWords[i] = temp; } else if(cmp == 0) { pWords[j] = NULL; } } } }
