Lower cpu = lower xp/hour?
I don't think so, not substatially. It just lowers the FPS, so everything looks slower to us and it's refreshed less often, but besides that i think all rates should be the same. Run it 10 mins without low CPU and 10 mins with low CPU and check for yourself, let us know what you get.

new bot computer
are you sure it will work that way? in my laptop which im using now if i run 5 bots or 8 bots its on 100% cpu so cant to this calc.. It's basic logic/algebra, of course it will work. You are wrong and ignored what the OP said to your reply. Like he said some CPU's can run more bots even if its working at 100%, so if 1 bot uses 25% it doesn't mean that he will be able to use only 4 bots. Basic logic/algebra doesn't apply here. so save your smart ass comments for troll threads or w/e. OP: The only way to know is that you test it, push it until you see a decrease of performance on the bots and download any tool that keep track of the temperature. I'm not trying to be a smartass or rude at all, I'm only genuinely trying to help. I didn't quite understand what his post about the "5 bots or 8 bots 100% CPU" meant exactly. I interpreted it as he could run approximately 5-8 bots and max out, not that he could run more past 100%. And that he was trying to compare his current CPU to another. Read through my posts, I'm (almost)always only trying to be constructive and help out. I'm just assuming that most people who run many bots are doing some sort of farming and therefore doing the same task/script on each client, making each bot take up roughly the same CPU. And I'd assume that once your CPU is at 100% you can't run anymore, I was unaware that you could still run more bots properly even after being at 100% CPU. Assuming that each script/client you run takes up roughly the same CPU and that at 100% you can't run anymore my little calculation would get him to his answer, I was unaware you could run more past 100% and was only trying to help. I didn't mean to come off snarky. bs. you can have 1% CPU/bot but you wont run 100 bots, there's other factors to take into account lol If you minus out the CPU used by other programs you have running, what else would you need to account for? It just gives a rough estimate, I'm just trying to help out and get him a decent guess. DEFINATELY more than 10. I haven't botted in a long time but I have a 2.8GHz 6 core AMD processor and I run about 10-12 on it just fine while doing other things on the computer. My guess would be around a bit under 20.

You need to be doing this on the same computer you plan to be running the bots on though, you can't use the stats of one computer and compare to another, it's specific to CPU. So if you don't actually have the computer yet, you can just ask other people with similar CPUs what they are able to run (like you already are )

Definitely build, and yes as @Anon said price is a good place to start off before we can help you with a build. Also besides botting what else do you plan to do on it (specifically, any gaming)?- new bot computer
If you plan to overlock it then get aftermarket cooling, if not, then don't worry about it. As for how many you can run:- Give Mods a TRIAL Before Making Them Mods With Full Mod Power?
Someone getting mod isn't a procedure taken lightly at all. I'm sure anyone who gets mod is well deserving of it if the other staff thinks so. I see no reason to limit them at all. Let them be a mod, they can learn as they go, and when in doubt they can ask someone more experienced first before swinging their big epeen around. I'm a member of various forums and I've never seen it done this way either, I think it's fine as is.- How do I know if a local script is safe?
By looking at/reading the source or asking someone else who understands java to do so. Anyone an scan the files themselves after downloading, no need to ask others for what you can easily do youreslf. Also virus scans don't really check for malicious java code on jar/class files, someone needs to look at the source and read it.- Keyboard Suggestion?
I was learning towards that keyboard but wanted something a little less mainstream and more different looking. Everyone and their mom had a black widdow and I wanted something different. So I did a ton of research and ended up getting the one in the link below. Check out my review of mine here: http://osbot.org/forum/topic/14269-video-review-yohojos-first-mechanical-keyboard/ Here are some sites/resources for you to get an idea of what other options are out there for you: http://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/ http://deskthority.net/ http://deskthority.net/wiki/Main_Page http://www.overclock.net/f/373/keyboards Here's a nice site to buy from, they have a little "Mechanical Keyboard Finder" which can help you decide on some based on your needs: http://mechanicalkeyboards.com/- Update?

What OS is on it?- Need help with gold farming
No one really helps with goldfarming in particular as it only huts everyone else. Specifically, no one will really share any good/decent methods with you. Besides that, go run 1 bot on the computer, see how much CPU it takes up, and based on that you can see how many you can run on that computer. There is a script request section in which you can request for scripts to be made in, you can ask there. Or solicit scriptwriters via PM and see if they wish to make it for you. As in which bot to buy, since you are at OSBot, we can only discuss/talk about OSBot, there is another worthy alternative around though.- How do you leave feedback?
Go here. http://osbot.org/forum/user/29552-shit/?tab=feedback Click the leave feedback button. Make sure to copy/pate the link to the deal topic/thread too.- Scholar Rank
Scripter rank suffices in my opinion. Although it's a neat fun rank to have/earn it doesn't really seem to serve a purpose.- Staff online
I find it simple enough to just scroll down to the "Users Online" section and look for the Green , Red, or Pink glowing names. I don't find it super necessary.- How much do reports do?
Where exactly did you hear this? From what I've heard getting reported for macroing is pretty dangerous and often leads to ban. I wouldn't bot on the account for a couple of weeks, and even play legit/do some quests etc for a while before attempting to bot again on the account.- NPC 6142?
http://www.runelocus.com/tools/npclist.html?name=6142 Portal?- People shouldn't be able
I feel like it should just be made VERY CLEAR that they can be charged back, and maybe some sort of minimum feedback threshold set for allowing a user to sell them. Completely disallowing them is a bit harsh, but I'm not completely against the idea.- Bot detection Confirmed osrs
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EzK7byPdro 1:17 he explains whats happening at 19:00 most people are under the idea that "manually banning" are mods just going to popular locations and looking for bots, while this is true they actually use a tool that pulls up names around the mod and tell you whos legit and whos botting and when they where / are they currently botting .. according to the video atleast Okay thanks for calcification. I still find the title misleading though. Something more like "Bot Detection System Information" sounds a bit better to me. Your title makes it seems like everyone who bots will get banned due to their detection or something like that :p. I think we can all still agree that overall Jagex is still really bad at catching bots on a whole. They've got a lot of work to do :-)- Bot detection Confirmed osrs
Pretty lame of you to use such a misleading title How does this video have to do anything with 'Bot Detection Confirmed'? It's just mods going around manually banning people, they get together and do this all of the time. However maybe I'm missing something, what's the importance of what's going on at the 19:00 mark, I see nothing special?- If i don't bot, is VIP worth it?
he plays the game normally for himself and when doing services 100% legit. i don't know what inspired him to join a botting community lol. Because often time botting sites have black markets in which you can advertise/do services in. So he does legit services and makes $/GP that way. I don't know of any non-botting RS communities which condone that sort of activity.- If i don't bot, is VIP worth it?
You are the only moderator that doesn't have VIP. You should buy it to support osbot Just hide your own double post then :-) She supports OSBot in another way, by volunteering her time moderating. - Specs help
