  1. I find it simple enough to just scroll down to the "Users Online" section and look for the Green , Red, or Pink glowing names. I don't find it super necessary.
  2. I feel like it should just be made VERY CLEAR that they can be charged back, and maybe some sort of minimum feedback threshold set for allowing a user to sell them. Completely disallowing them is a bit harsh, but I'm not completely against the idea.
  3. *Click here and you have acess to all 10 notifications. I have all my notifications there even pages. I guess moderators have no limit, and other users do. We are only able to see 10. Ask an admin to change please?

  5. ...... welp it's in the spam section where it belongs now. Carry on. I made it in the spam section..it's a troll thread....LOL Pretty sure it was originally in Services??

  7. If you are serious about this service I suggest you edit the OP with some more relevant information. And everyone else should stop spamming.
  8. Why not? It saves the staff time and it couldn't possibly do any harm. This. I fee like ANYONE should have ability to lock own threads and change own thread titles. No harm can be done, and it saves mods time and effort for more important matters.
  9. For now you guys can change your settings to be emailed upon notification so you get a new email each time you get a notification. This way you can see each and every notification since they will all be archived in your email. I know this isn't the best solution/workaround but it's something that will work until/IF the notification limit is lifted. Totally agree it should be lifted/removed though, 10 is quite small for scriptwriters especially!
  10. Yeah I think the thread is more about getting PiPs made for different donation amounts. This is just saying no to free funding. People donate, OSBot loses nothing and gets more $. There are plenty of people who wouldn't mind either having/not having VIP/Sponsor and on top of that also donating. Having different PiPs for different amounts donated can also quantify their 'achievement'. We can make the minimum $10 (same as VIP) for the PiP/Rank, so not just any joe schmoe with some pocket change can get it. Also read comment above. If you donate you should get a donator rank, to show others you care. So the only way you'll donate to help out the site is if you can show it off to everyone else? Nothing wrong with that/being a little 'greedy'. If giving out a PiP/Rank is all it takes for OSBot to get more donations, so be it. It's a win/win situation.
  11. I agree they should be made. TONS of forums have donor ranks/PiPs. Yeah sure people already have to pay for Sponsor/VIP and actually get benefits unlike a donor rank, but still, many people like to donate donate just to donate (out of kindness/for the PiP/helps them do better in the market). So why should we stop/disallow them from donating just because we assume that they wont? Sythe is a 100% free black market yet tons of people donate and they have donor ranks all the way up to the $300+ mark. It's free money for OSBot in exchange for a Rank/PiP and people do donate, so yes! By not wanting this rank, you're basically just saying no to free funding.
  12. Fucking awesome story, fuck that kid he deserved it I don't even feel bad that you took the $.
  13. Danny Brown is AWESOMEEEE I like this one
  14. Thanks for the link. It's sort or related to Snippits :p, guess it can be put into issues.
  15. The main point of it is to rack up positive feedbacks to show how many trades you've done successfully and therefore mean you are more trusted. The point of negative feedback in RS Trading/Black market websites is to indicate that a SCAM occurred. This way a user at a glance and see that "Oh he has 1(usually the max incurred) negative feedback this must mean he has scammed recently and has a scam report against him" Keeping it this way (as it is at EVERY other RS Black market) let's users easily see who has done how many trades/is trusted and at a glance who has scammed recently. If we allowed positive AND negative feedbacks for trades which went though (but not well) it would be more confusing for users to gauge weather or not a user is trusted. This system works great and as it is intended to, it's fine as is.

    Feedback

OP here answers some of you questions/concerns: http://osbot.org/forum/topic/14820-handling-feedback-removal-wrong/ Some people just come here for the market, not to bot, not to post, and some come just to make an account just to buy/sell things really quick. I don't think there should be any sort of post limit/restriction for FBing. As for false feedbacks, it goes without saying that negative feedback should be accompanied with a scam report. If not, simple just report the feedback and a moderator will remove as easy as that. @ HELL NO to captcha, requiring link topic alone is already enough work. Captcha won't do anything to stop fake feedbacks anyways, just stop bots/automated systems which no one even really does anyways. No advertising has a WAY larger market than here and they don't have a catpcha system and are just fine.
  17. Something as big as a staff promotion is not really meant to be suggested by average users. Something as large and important as this is left up to staff alone and what we have to input isn't really relevant/important. I feel the current staff are doing just fine as is right now anyways.

    Market Mod

Staff is doing a fine job as far as I can see. I report tons of posts and they get taken care of all the time, sometimes stupidly fast (no lifer mods :X). Just hit that report button, put your reason, and it will be handled. Mods don't (always) read though every post on every thread, it's our job to report them and bring them to their attention. With that being said #YoHoJo4Mod
  19. Question: Was his Skype hacked only, or was his forum account also hacked? Is the rule that he must repay in order to get unbanned, even though a hacker did the scamming?
  20. Thanks it works now Awww shit Dr. YoHoJo Teach Support up in dis! Awesome! Glad it worked.
  21. Try delete your cookies/cache etc (ctrl+alt+del does it on most browsers). Try using a different browser and see if you still have the problem.
  22. Whoaoaoao! JD-GUI is really cool, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! And what about class files, can I use Eclipse to see the source of them? What if a script has multiple parts/class files, how would I easily be able to examine that all? (Or do a lot/most people release their code as .jars?)
  23. Oh please you could have just reported the thread and asked a mod to correct the typo. It irks me too though :p
  24. I'm extremely new to Java, a quick little guide/run through would be nice but I'll defiantly check that out and see if it's a simple process to do without assistance. Are there any other similar/alternative programs to JD-Gui? Can eclipse do this somehow? Or how would I look at the source of class files, just open them in Eclipse somehow? Thank you.
