  1. Mmm for the most part yeah, but idk about that. There was a thread/announcement made a while ago on the topic of free vs. payed scripts in which scripters mostly decided on (collaboratively) that there should be a respectful fee for using a script in order to keep both sides of the debate happy. Scripters want to get rewarded for their efforts, as well as the users of their scripts. Things have been based on this idea ever since.
  2. That's too bad you feel that way, but that is not my point. It may all have to do with time and place. Maybe at the time you released your script, woodcutting was very popular, and as soon as you release a script you are presenting to the market and ultimately decided on. You have to be prepared to work in that environment, and wanting to learn to script is on a different level.
  3. Yeah but this community creates scripts with the sole purpose of applying them to the game. Maybe the reason why they dismissed your script was because osbot has already become mostly a market. I respect you wanting to learn scripting, but by releasing this type of script (that is significant in this market), you are essentially trying to compete, which is why I made that comment. By claiming that you are still in the process of learning and then saying that you don't care if the method becomes useless (meaning the puro puro script has degraded in usefulness as a result), you come out as being not very appealing to the end user who relies on a mindful attitude in order for you and your contributions to be beneficial to them by being able to fulfill their needs.
  4. Read. This was my comment at first. He then responded with, ^Because his comment above defines "good community", right?. Part of his purpose of releasing this script is to ruin the method? To me, that is not showing support for the community. So why should I support him. I compared his script to the other puro script to shed some light on the reality of the case, so that he can maybe realise the mindset he is currently in..
  5. Truth be told.
  6. Well maybe nobody wants your script if there is already a better one?
  7. I know you're proud, but there is already a very sexy puro puro script. More than one of these could quite possibly ruin the method.
