  1. You won't get banned for botting 2 hours. There is nothing wrong with actually playing the game mostly and botting now and then. I've said this before. I bot the skills I hate, and play the ones I don't. I like doing quests and clues to break the monotony. I don't have any skills that are substantially higher than others. I spread the wealth, and I have many paid for bots. Many skills I do manually like farming which is in the 70's now. I never turn on a bot and leave unless I have 100% confidence in the script I am running. I have botted for years and even back in rs2, and have never been banned. that's caus I am playing the game, and making money to spend on stuff for me. I'm not scamming and gold mining and being a jerk. I honestly think that makes a difference. Hope this helps.
  2. Not a bug, but a little suspicious looking. Shilo Village fly fishing. When the fishing spot disappears the script walks back and forth until all the run energy is depleted with no delays. I understand that it is trying to get the spots in view. The problem is, many times there is a spot on the other side of the stream near the bridge that many times is active, but the bot never crosses. There should be some delays and randomness about the hunting on the bank side, and the fisher should cross the bridge when the nearest fishing spot is active. edit: I just noticed, the bot won't go to the fishing spot on the bank side nearest the bridge either if it was fishing at the spots farthest from the bridge. Perhaps it is just a bug....
  3. I just checked, and the coal trucks fill up at 131 pcs of coal or under 5 loads. They work by using the coal on the coal truck. If you put coal in any of them, it is available at any of them. They are all magically linked. Perhaps a quick check of fishing level before banking would be a good idea. That way you don't have to go back and code things once you've fixed it.
  4. At coal trucks, the banking is at fishing guild. I don't have high enough fishing to get in. Until then, why not have an option for depositing into the coal trucks?
  5. Yes, am running 2.3.122. Still perfect miner 0.18, and still running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I deleted my OSBot directory, uninstalled and reinstalled Java (Java 8 Update 60), and re-entered all my account setting into OSBot. In the mean time, I am power mining. It works fine that way...
  6. One other thing. My guy attacked a bear, and I saw it. The bot kept trying to mine as I was slowly taking hits. I have set my attack to right click only like the rangers guild script. Perhaps that little subroutine could be added to this script. I'm looking forward to using the script. Still 0.18 here... In the mean time, I have to do some quests. I got a clue that requires that I at least start the Legends quest.
  7. I was mining coal by Ardougne and when going to bank, the bot clicks all over the minimap until my run energy is gone. It never finds the bank. I have done all the usual stuff like screen mode, make sure screen is fixed and default size, and not resizeable. I have shut down the client and the OSB client as I am using mirror mode, and sometimes that causes issues. Other than that, the miner clicks on the coal fine. I have been watching the bot 100% of the time since. You know me, I am paranoid. OSB Client 2.3.121 Mirror mode Mirror client Beta (x32) v1.0102.93 Perfect Miner ver 0.18 Antipattern checked 'screen mode' with 8 coals selected Mine region is where bears are East of Ardougne Screen mode 'default mode' Screen zoom disabled When inventory is full, the bot runs all over the place, and not in the direction of any bank. It just seems like random click on the minimap. Here is everything I could copy and paste from the output terminal: [iNFO][bot #1][10/09 06:10:14 PM]: true 2.1 ?? 8. One tip I feel strongly about is that if you plan on botting, get multiple bots and switch them around so that you aren't just building one skill or in one area for long periods. For instance, if you had the Czar rock crabs, giant spiders and ankou, you could use all of them in the period of a day with the confidence that Czar clients have come to know. You might throw some agility mage or herblore into the mix... I don't know if any of the above makes any difference, but I have done a lot of botting, and even in RS2 I did, but I always had lots of them to mix up the day with. I probably bot about 1/3 to 1/2 of the time. I have never been banned or warned.
  9. I achieved enough Slayer reward points to buy an Herb sack. I want to say that I HIGHLY recommend it! It is easy to use, and only takes 1 inventory slot to hold all your herbs as you train. All you need is one empty slot to pick up an herb, then right click the sack and have it dropped in. I can carry so many herbs that I actually get tired of being somewhere before I can even fill it up.
  10. Cheap coffee is cheap coffee. Only the best java goes down my gullet.
  11. You're not going crazy. If you have a wheel mouse, and scroll at all, it will change the zoom settings. Even a slight scroll of the wheel mouse will change the zoom. There isn't a bot here that I have seen that can work unless the zoom is exactly default.
  12. You are right, I didn't read the updates. However, Skiller world and Total level world mean different things to me. You just know how Alek thinks. By the way, be patient with me, this is the only script I have ever written in Java and I am trying to learn the ropes here. For one thing, I haven't even been using the developer build. It makes sense when I am trying something not in the stable, so your response got me thinking outside the box. Thanks for pointing my nose in the right direction.
  13. As near as I can tell, the only way to accomplish this is to make a table of all P2P worlds which does not include 53, 66, 73 and 61 and randomize the hop() function with bug-out tests like: !isMembers() getPopulation() < FULL_WORLD isPvpWorld() That is not what I would call tidy...but it would work IMO. Your thoughts?
  14. The following changes were made in a recent osrs update: World 53 - 1250+ total World 66 - 1500+ total World 73 - 1750+ total World 61 - 2000+ total The function hopToP2PWorld() is what I want to do, but I don't want the above worlds included in this random hop. Is there a tidy way to make this happen?
  15. One more thing concerning this is the main forum screen which indicates the status of the OSBot client and Mirror client. The moderators should be diligent about updating it. Even though this has been down now for at least 6 hours, and proper notification has been made, the screen indicates everything is up and running fine: Taken at 4:05 PM EST
  16. No problem... I am patient, but always tell the developers when things don't work in case they aren't aware...
  17. I've tried several times this morning, but it seems the mirror isn't initializing. Here is the log: [iNFO][08/24 10:20:26 AM]: Welcome to OSBot 2.3.101! [iNFO][08/24 10:20:27 AM]: Loaded 3 RS accounts! [DEBUG][08/24 10:20:27 AM]: You last logged in as : Mustang Guy [iNFO][08/24 10:20:28 AM]: Loaded 1 local scripts and 0 custom random solvers! 18. You nailed it Precise. I was null checking in the loop, but overlooked it in the getState(). By the way, the script works great. Perhaps instead of having the script pick up the limp, I will have it notify me there is one laying down somewhere in the room. That way I can pick it up and not be in any danger of getting nabbed for scripting. What I want is to have this little baby running while I am killing Hill giants.
  19. I put the brackets in the getState() and changed the spelling of Limpwurt, and it still freezes and gobbles memory. I edited the script above to reflect those changes, and they are indicated in bright yellow. I threw a bunch of log statements in the script in the various case sections so I could figure out which section the error is occurring in. The problem is, the text window below the OSBot screen is too short to see the errors and logs() and the window is frozen so I can't scroll back up. I couldn't find a debug function for writing the log to a file. Here is all I can see in the error log below the RS window in the OSBot app:
  20. This problem has been solved. Thank you all so much for your help! I'm trying to write a very simple script to troll the Hill Giants in the Edge cave and gather Limpwerts people don't pick up. The problem is, my script just freezes the OSBot window and starts eating memory. For the life of me, I can't figure out what is going on. Here is the script: (NOTE: Bright yellow indicates edits since original post.) import org.osbot.rs07.api.model.GroundItem; import org.osbot.rs07.script.Script; import org.osbot.rs07.script.ScriptManifest; import java.awt.*; @ScriptManifest(author = "Mustang Guy", info = "private script", name = "Limpwert root banker", version = 0.01, logo = "") public class main extends Script { @Override public void onStart() { log("Bot to pick Limpwurt roots and bank them"); } private enum State {PICK, BANK, WAIT}; private State getState() { GroundItem lr = groundItems.closest("Limpwurt root"); if (!inventory.isFull() && lr != null && lr.exists()) { return State.PICK; } if (inventory.isFull()) { return State.BANK; } return State.WAIT; } @Override public int onLoop() throws InterruptedException { GroundItem lr = groundItems.closest("Limpwurt root"); switch (getState()) { case PICK: log("PICK"); if (lr != null && lr.exists()) lr.interact("Take"); break; case BANK: log("BANK"); //write script to run to bank break; case WAIT: log("WAIT"); sleep(random(500, 700)); break; } return random(200, 300); } @Override public void onExit() { log("adios"); } @Override public void onPaint(Graphics2D g) {} }
  21. Make sure you install the JDK (Java Developer Kit) before step 1. Having Java installed is not enough. You need access to the libraries. http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html NOTE: Download the x86 version NOT the 64 bit version. Otherwise you will not be able to attach with the mirror client when running scripts. I found out the hard way. 64 bit and mirror client do not work well together as of now...
  22. It is running top notch... Thank you for being so available. You are the best... MG
  23. The video indicated on the previous page is incorrect. It shows the zoom all the way to the left, and not on the second button over from the left... Look at screen grab of the Gyazo video:
  24. I got the script to load up. As it turns out, being in the ranging guild was the thing I was doing wrong. The problem is, the bot can't find the target. I can see that the cursor is aiming above the target at a tree off and on, but never at the target. It never fires a shot. I made sure all my settings are correct, and I am in mirror and fixed mode with 1 click selected. Check out this screen grab. Notice the little red 'x' indicated by mouse pointer debug mode: edit: am trying something. I was reading ealier posts about zoom, and I was zoomed clear out. The video somebody added above is WRONG. The zoom should be on the second from the left. When I right clicked and set to default, it started working great. For everybody reading, please remove the zoom video on the previous page or update it. You should right click and say default!
