All accounts had simple names (no numbers/spaces). Main botting account still active - 96 fletching.

Currently lv91, going for 92 by the morning. I don't wish to use the mirror client as I'm botting stupidly long hours and also using this as more of an experiment if anything to see what differences there are when it comes to bans on my accounts. Thank you, I'll need it!

Oh this is just me coming back to runescape and botting as much as I can in the first week, if I get banned then I get banned but if I don't I'll start botting more safely as the account grows in value to me. Usually I would bot 6-8 hours a day with breaks and also purchase the mirror client but as I'm botting crazy I don't want to allow Jagex to pick up on the mirror client, it wouldn't be fair on the community.

It would make sense as technically they wouldn't stand to make as much money from you since you wouldn't have a recurring membership.

Yeah I did mention standard client ^.^ I wouldn't bot that long on mirror as I wouldn't want to ruin it for everyone else while it still maintains it's low ban rate ^^ This seems highly probable, I didn't actually think about that! Paypal using a debit card.

Hey guys I started this to share my experience the past week since I started playing runescape again. I quit Runescape a week after old school came out and haven't played since. So here's what's happened so far this week alone! Created 2 accounts to bot and one mule account to store my wealth the beginning of the week. First account I fished until 60 fishing and then purchased membership and continued to fish until 75 doing lobsters and fly fishing (12-18 hours a day) . I have also botted 90 fletching 18-20 hours a day since then and the account is still active! Second account I created on the same day, didn't purchase membership and botted 1-45 woodcutting doing normal logs/oaks with a bronze axe! Took 8 hours and was permabanned while the script was running (was logged out and couldn't log back in). I was banking all logs. The first account had an email registered to it while the second account had a made up email.. So I decided to log into my old OSRS account to bot as I had never previously botted on this account and figured that I'd have a lower chance of being banned on this account as it has so much legitimate play put into it, so I went woodcutting. This time I reached 70 woodcutting and during the time created a mule account to transfer my wealth to after learning from my mistake the first time. 2 days after I stopped using this account it got banned which I thought was a bit strange but I figured that maybe they flagged my IP and decided to check other accounts from this address even ones which hadn't been logged in for days. Now this is where I'm a bit confused.. The reason I didn't change my IP was that I wanted to get as much raw information as possible on these bans. It appears to me that even though I'm botting nearly every hour of every day on my account with membership it's not been picked up by Jagex (yet). Are jagex waiting not banning me because I've got a recurring membership payment setup on this account? It's possible, they are making money from me.. All botting has been done on the standard client and with free scripts, until yesterday where I bought Auto Fletcher Pro from Novak, which works flawlessly might I add, I'd 100% recommend the script to anyone who wants to get 99 fletching! I think it could be to do with the fact that my other accounts were essentially F2P gold farming while my "main account" is displaying behaviour more similar to someone who's just botting their main for personal use. My mule also hasn't been banned as of yet and all wealth was traded over via the trade function in game (not duel arena or drop trading). Hope some of this information helps! Let's see how far I can get with this account that's still active before being banned!

Bot as long as you like but if you're doing hours no human would ever do then expect your chances of being banned to skyrocket. ^ This. Also, you mentioned you are a developer, I'm curious as to what languages you use and IDE.

That "except first day 24h" is the reason right there. So to answer your question "how can I prevent this?" Don't bot for 24 hours unless you're willing to take the hit! I am also a developer, now think of this from Jagex's perspective.. How they dectected you is simple.. List of players online > Filter players logged in for *insert abnormal amount on time e.g 24hr* > Monitor said accounts > Ban.

Sometimes shit just happens dude, I've been botting almost 20 hours a day straight off tut-island with free scripts and standard client until today. one account for banned after 8 hours of woodcutting, the other account is nearly 90 fletching and 90 fishing completely fine. change your IP/change computer your IP is now flagged.. although mine is flagged and I haven't changed it and I'm good. Sucks man

Extremely disappointed with the result. I strongly agree with Varc on this, although I take a very left approach to this whole situation. While I agree that Ed had the countries best interest in mind I don't think a labour government would have worked very well, I believe that the labour party need to sit down and rethink their main goals as a party they just seemed to be all over the place this election. What were your reasons for voting Conservative? Austerity is not the answer to brining a country out of an economic crisis at all.

While I personally don't care if people get lured I do think that luring is quite obviously a dishonest scheme. Luring is a dick move and although I'd happily lure someone for bank I won't try and justify it as a legitimate way of making money in the game.. Come on OP. xD

What are the requirements to begin?

I am a fairly experienced programmer, as Flamezzz pointed out there are already other applications that handle this task. Depending on length of the project and the price you are willing to pay I'd be happy to do it. I have quite heavy time restraints at the moment but I'll give it a look. PM me with a proper specification for the application (all features, what devices it'll be run on etc).

Using free scripts usually isn't the best way to go about it in my opinion, they tend to have worse anti-ban. Although saying that I've been using osbowcutter for the last 10 hours and it's been running flawlessly, I guess I'll have to wait and see. Sucks losing an account.

Did you read the topic title? Purchasing VIP isn't implementing antiban measures. xD Good code without bugs would ensure that your script doesn't start doing something silly halfway through running and cause you to get banned that way. I'd recommend variation with delays, basically anything that makes your bot look more human!

This. Adding a daily limit with a slight variation in length would both stop people doing stupid 50+ hr botting sessions and also make the bot less detectable by preventing everyone botting the exact same hours a day, say a variation between 8-10 hours a day.
