  1. We've all been had.
  2. That sucks but it doesn't seem like you lost much so that's good.
  3. Mouse profiling makes sense for the mouse movements but I just don't think speed really goes into it.I guess I just don't really understand what you are saying about distance because getting distance from one point to another and then calculating the speed based off of that distance just seems so ineffcient and unrealistic thing to do for catching bots. It makes more sense to look at the points where the mouse clicks are occuring (so you can look for recursion) and also looking for client detection instead.
  4. Yeah I am pretty sure Jagex can and does detect the client. It would be safer to play on the actual RS client if you are just going to play legit.
  5. Why would it matter if they calculate the distance from one point to another point on the screen?
  6. I am wondering the same thing.I have a static IP and it annoying to use a VPN everytime I want to change my IP. Is there anyway to change it so your home IP is no longer static?
  7. I will probably have a job in computer programming in some company and be working on my master's degree or finishing it up.
  8. I am a student currently and I study computer science. I'm going to graduate soon but I don't have a job at the moment because I want to focus on my studies. My parents support me while I am doing this.

  10. This could be a method they use but I doubt it is main method of finding bots. It seems inefficient for finding bots because it could potentially mistake a real person for a bot which doesn't happen. I think if I was Jagex, I would look for methods to detect the bot client, amount of log in time per day, and IP's.
  11. I'm new and have never played OS yet but I am hoping to do this as well. Good luck to you.
  12. You could play RS on it but I'd probably do it remotely. But I don't really see the point in doing that either because you could just bot instead of wasting time playing on your phone
