Heyyyyyyyyy.
I was wondering what the fellow botters out there considered to be the "best" form of runescape account security out there.
From my experience: I've had a Runescape account with a good sum of items/gold on it. The account had a bank pin, 2 step authentication, registered email with 2 step activated on there, and a password which was always 12-20 characters long. (Email and Runescape account password's were different.) The account was somehow compromised and items were taken. No unusual activity on my email, nothing from Jagex. So I assume there's a flaw in Jagex's recovery system, if that's to be the case, what would you guys do to counter this?
I've only come to conclude that the best way to protect your gold is to have an alternate account which at the best of your ability is only known to yourself. (Also being less showy and not walking around with an ely and gilded dragon armour.)
