  1. What Order do you need : Power Leveling Will you fb me/vouch on thread? : Yes did you add me on skype?: I think so, confirming once added.
  2. Is it possible my GPU will be able to run two different resolutions? 1600:900 and 1900:1080 while running games like crysis 3 on the 1900:1800 and youtube on the other?
  3. What's a good brand to replace my PSU?
  4. So far I've not run anything it can't handle with ease. I'm planning on getting a better mouse and cddrive just for kicks. Maybe some LEDs. Also thanks for the advice on the psu . that will probably come after ram. And about ssd's are they really good for anything other than a faster boot speed.
  5. I just bought this pc a month ago and am getting money to put new parts into it soon. I want suggestions on where I can make it better, and you guys seem to like seeing things like this. I will post pics if anyone wants to see them (just request). http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Socalcium/saved/hzhFf7
  6. Turtle Beach Ear Force Z11. They're what I use atm
  7. Budget: $600-$800USD Intended use: Gaming, Recording
  8. And now I feel as if I'm not torrenting fast enough again. High-five for lopsided ratio!
  9. Turns out the case I'm getting comes with 3 already. I'll probably buy 2 more just to be safe though.
  10. The real question here is "will it blend?"
  11. I may use this one because it's an upgrade for only $10 more. Plus I can make up for it with the RAM I have on the other build which is the same speed/space as the Kingston. And maybe a cheaper case.
  12. If you're willing to build it yourself, and put time into choosing parts one by one with SOME help. Try http://www.pcpartpicker.com/ I'm using it to choose/order the pieces I need for my gaming rig. Plus it searches for the best deals for you automatically. :P
  13. At the moment I have a 1TB hard drive but I'm not sure how fast it is. It seems to be pretty quick though, and I assume it is high end because I got it from a family member who when they buy things, they do it right so it's not a waste of money. :P I also do have a monitor but I am going to get a second one anyway because this one is basic as (excuse my french but) fuck. I will be using my current Logitech Z323 speakers and cheap sades headphones unless I can figure out how to get my turtle beach x32s to work as headphones and a mic. I've decided to make a decision by 7/20/2014 so I can start putting it together before I have to leave for a week. So I have something to look forward to when I get back. A friend of mine who put his own pc together has agreed to help me with mine, and I'm going to ask some of my hardware-tech friends I've made at work to overlook the parts I've chosen to ensure I'm not screwing up Hopefully I don't regret rushing through this.
  14. Would someone look over what I've chosen on the considered build link. I've slightly skimped on CPU/GPU but I asked a few friends who've recently built their own pcs and they've all said it's pretty good for what I'm willing to spend. I'm pretty stuck on the general idea of what I've put together so far and would love some constructive criticism on that now. Also, guitarfret66 I'm looking into those parts you suggested, but its hard to fit them into my current build without downgrading some parts (i.e. 8GB ram to 6GB ram.). Also I'd like to thank you all for your help and legitimate interest and concern in what I'm going to spend/waste my money on.
  15. Ultra would be best if I could also get smooth FPS, but I don't expect to be able to run every game on ultra. I just need it to be able to hold it's own for the next 2-3 years in gaming. (Games like the ones listed above [bF4,ARMA3,CRYSIS])
  16. On another note I'm still updating the "considered build" link. And I've heard that AMD is better than Nvidia, and I've also heard that Nvidia is better than AMD, I think its comes down to the old Xbox360 vs PS3 argument, and what you want personally. Due to the fact that I've not had either except for my current joke of a video card ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro (PCI-e, 128MB) (Before AMD bought ATI ) I've not gotten the chance to have a personal preference as of now, I'm going off of what I wanted which is a 3GB GPU and the fastest and cheapest version of that.
  17. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "a bundle or a bunch of individual parts" but from what I believe it means I think I'm looking for the individual parts. What I understand you mean is bundle being parts sold together for cheaper from the sites. And individual parts being parts without the deals of being sold together but less of a sacrifice on the other hand?
  18. Sorry! I didnt word it correctly. My current build is junk atm it's a Dell Optiplex 765 Slim. What was called "current build" I renamed because you unintentionally pointed out that I chose the wrong wording I meant to say it was what I am going to buy so far. The monitor is only because I have one of those right now, and I want a better one, but it's not at the top of my list. I also didnt include GPU in the list because I noticed the prices and deals fluctuate and I don't want to choose one until its closer to the date I am going to actually buy the parts, but I am consitering a Sapphire 11217-04-20G because of the price, but I know I'd have to pay extra for in fans and cooling, and am thinking about sacrificing some things for a better GPU and CPU for what I am going to use it for.
  19. Hey guys! It's been a while since I've posted on OSB. Anyway, I've decided I'm going to invest in a new pc because I'm getting annoyed with my current one. I've got money for a build from $700-$1000 (Preferably more toward $700 but its easier to do with $900 I'm fine with that.) Anyway, I've already begun making one, and I'm going to update the parts as I go along (daily until I get a build I want for good.) I'd appreciate it if someone would take the time to help me because I've never done this before. Also I've planned to buy the computer before 8/5/14. -Considered Build (Being edited by me)- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fBYQcf Edited build 7/14/2014 at 10:47PM -Build I found online that I'm consitering- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/xwzn8d Also, I'm building this pc for gaming. I'm hoping to set a minimum requirement for running BF4/ARMA3/CRYSIS easily with the best fps/display quality as possible with the budget I have. Botting on this pc isn't necessary due to the fact that I'm going to set up my bots to run on the server I've got sitting in my room collecting cobwebs when I get the computer. Thanks in advance!
