You need 92 mining to mine amethyst. That is all, you get the requirement to enter the mining guild from 70 IIRC, I've done it in the past but it's hella slow, it's better if you have the expert mining gloves as the rocks dont deplete as often. However you'll be making ~300k p/h I did 94-99 mining doing amethyst and made a lot of gp but this was back in 2019/2020
