For such a warm welcome and a bit of a celebration of my recent Scripter status, I would like to give back to you guys by giving away a simple private script to one lucky winner! Whoa whats with the hostility? is this a joke i don't see or if not why post at all? i didn't get a vibe that he was asking for anything for free.... he is asking if he puts his time into writing scripts for our community will he eventually be able to get promoted to script writer 1,2,3 and be aloud to sell premium scripts on the site or benefit in another way. at least that is what i understood form what he is saying... @Master Roshii believe the way you become a script writer is by applying/making a post under the staff application section of the forums. if you really wanna make money boting/script writing then you have definitely come to the right place. Together they are what makes osbot the amazing bot site that it is their work attracts more potential customers and members to our community than any other site. i've boted and have tested out every major boting site out that i'm aware of and even had a vip/premium subscription with a handful of those and from what i've gathered is that Osbot is the #1 site to not only Bot with but to Write scripts with if that's your thing. so if you really want to make $ either writing scripts or boting you came to the right place to do both of those things. besides filling out a staff application (i think they have those) the best way to get into a scripter 2 or 3 position is to start being a active member of this community, chime in on the forums, start writing scripts and releasing them for free under the unofficial scripts section on the forums and if you are a great script writer who has something unique and beneficial to offer the community then im sure osbot would love to have you. as far as money of boting grab yourself a Vip/Sponsor if not a lifetime sponsor subscription (it will pay for itself in a year) if you plan to make any amount of real $ off of boting then either put your talents to work and write yourself some private scripts or reach out to some of our great scriptwriters of the community and either buy their premium scripts on the SDN or have one of them write you a awesome private script. Hopefully you will chose to stay with us and contribute to the community i always enjoy seeing new potential script writers to bring something new and great to the SDN/unofficial section of the forums. Otherwise the ban-rate is highly increased! - Bans also depend on where you bot, for the best results: bot in unpopular locations Banking-related spells are the lowest ban-rate (spells which require banking or can be casted near a bank, e.g. superheating, maybe alching, jewelry enchanting etc etc) since you can just go to a full world and blend in with other non-bots (humans), for example: world 2 grand exchange If casting spells on npcs, then unpopular locations reduce the banrate by alot, So make sure not to go to botting hotspots otherwise you may be included in ban waves. - Some good areas used to be (until some got popular): grizzly bear, yanille stun-alching, any overground tiles (upstairs etc) but once the areas are overpopulated, try to go to another location which is similar to the aforementioned locations. This is a very popular thread with many many users so if a new location is mentioned, the location will be populated very quickly so I can only suggest examples of good locations - Don't go botting straight after a game update, it can be a very easy way to get banned. Wait a few hours! If you ever get banned, just backtrack your mistakes and avoid them in the future: you cannot be banned without making botting mistakes. Keep in mind you can be delay-banned from using previous scripts, so don't go using free/crap scripts for 24 hours then switching to a premium script, because the free/crap previous script can still get you banned! Here is a visual representation of the spawn system in action (this is just a visual tool, map mode is not added due to it requiring too much CPU) Fight Area Example (How the bot searches for the npc 'Wolf') Walking System The script has 2 main walking options which have distinctive effects on the script. The walking system is basically a map with points and connections linking each point. It tells the script where to go, and decides the routes to take when walking to fightzones. Walking system 1 This uses a custom walking API written by myself and is constantly being updated as new fightzones are added. Pros: - Updates are instant, no waiting times - More fightzones are supported Cons: - Sometimes if an object is altered, the changes are not instant - Restarting the script too many times requires loading this webwalker each time which adds unnecessary memory (there is no way to make it only load at client startup since I don't control the client) Walking system 2 This is the default OSBot webwalking API - it is relatively new and very stable since the developers have built it, but is currently lacking certain fightzones (e.g. stronghold) and other high level requirement zones. It is perfect for normal walking (no object interactions or stairs, entrances etc) and never fails. Pros: - Stable, works perfect for normal walking - All scripters are giving code to improve the client webwalker - More efficient when restarting the script since it is loaded upon client start Cons: - No stronghold support yet - Some new/rare fightzones not supported yet - If there is a game-breaking update or an unsupported fightzone, it may take some time to add/repair (less than 24 hours usually) So which system should I choose? Whichever one suits your chosen fightzone best! There really shouldn't be any problems - the sole purpose of these options are for backup and emergency purposes, if the script ever messes up there is always the next option to select. Note: If the script ever fails, there will be immediate updates to fix the walking systems! From the sounds of it, it sounds like you enjoy playing the game on that account and were just botting to help out with advancing the account when you didn't have time to play. Considering that I wouldn't bot on it again, ever. You were fortunate enough to get to a pretty good total level before getting a temp ban and now you should just enjoy the account you've built so far. I'd make another account to bot on if I were you.

Wow, for the record, enabling low cpu mode and disable client rendering turned the client running two bots from 58%-65% cpu down to 9,8%-14%! Thanks for the tip! that's turning my laptops capacity from 2-3 bots into 8-12 bots. Looks good! 3.99$ per month for a server with two cores (I heard somewhere that botters look for atleast 2 cores in a vps)

Yo, i use to script back in the ol' days with all these other old fags i recognize on here and other locations, im a nobody trust me.. but i aint bad at scripting. What I'm trying to get at is there a way could make some F2P scripts get them approved and all that and maybe get promoted to script writer through that? I have a lot of free time on my hands since I current am unemployed and would like to earn some "online cash" somehow making my own gold farm or someshit, but that 1 acc limiter is just awful for me. if ya'll could give me some feedback that'd be great. So I tried botting on a newer account The grand tree: Stuck on doors multiple times: https://imgur.com/a/comECLk Queued up some quests and got this issue after about 2 quests (started at ge and stamina pots were in bank): https://imgur.com/a/2Shyi5L All could be fixed with babysitting it, manually fixing the issue or restarting the script worked and the script could continue ! Hey Flan. My Laptop isn't all that great, but i'm still able to run two bots. OSBot has a few features such as the option to disable client rendering and the ability to turn on a low cpu mode which makes running two bots very undemanding. I would recommend just using your pc if possible.
