Dear community, It has been a while since we released the SDN and we were happy that we were able to launch the platform. The SDN has many upsides as it provides a secure platform that is easy to access by users of OSBot to buy and/or add scripts to the script selection, but also has some downsides. The major downside of how the SDN is organized is that it requires a lot of contact between developers and the administration team to add scripts to the SDN, mostly through IM services like Skype. But to communicate over Skype people need to be online at the same time and also the administration team has tasks to complete that sometimes require some priority. To summarize the problem, the administration team is not able to schedule their work together with the tasks of adding scripts to the SDN. We have thought about several possibilities to make this process easier. The easiest thing to do would be to write a web interface where everything is automated. You submit your script, a connection is made with a server and the server executes all logic required to add the script. However this would create a solution where there is no verification of scripts leaving a security gap, besides the fact that IPB has made things complicated with encryption and obfuscation of some of their files to certain formats on how to store information in the database. So that thought quickly vanished. It was clear to us that no matter what human interaction will remain required, so we took the road of thinking how to cut out the communication through IM services. And here is what we will do: If you are a developer and you want to have your script added to the SDN, you will be able to go to a webpage where you will provide the necessary information to us to add the script to the SDN. This information will be send as an email to a certain address and any communication will be through email after that instead of Skype. The script will get added to the SDN privately and will not be visible for anyone. When this has happened, an anonymous group of users (around 10 people) will test the script to see if it meets the quality standard sought after. Once enough feedback has brought back in about a script, a verdict will be made and if positive the script will be made public and will be available for everyone in the store to add to their collection. The same will happen for update notification of scripts. We will release a page where you will be able to see all the scripts you have on the SDN. If you require a script to be updated, you can request an update and the system will send an email notification to us. By doing the above we hope to be able to start adding scripts to the SDN at a much higher and efficient rate than before. Besides all of the above, we will introduce the possibility of limiting the amount of bots per script bought at one time for any developer who wants to have a certain control over the amount of bots botting a certain activity. The bot client itself couldn't do this. You had a script running or it didn't happen. :p

Let me explain the mentioned instancing to everyone who is not in the clear about it: Limiting the amount of bots your can run on one purchased instance will mean that for a certain script you buy you will only be able to run a certain amount of bots per instance you bought of that script. An example would be like this: Script developer X created a script which has a money making method making 500k an hour. However, if a 1000 bots would be botting the method it would make little to no cash anymore, rendering the sales of that script to zero and the method useless. The developer is then able to decide he wants to limit the amount of bots per bought instance to for example 4. If someone, whether it is a goldfarmer or not, wants to bot this method with 8 accounts this person will have to buy the script twice. Instancing will not affect any currently processed sales and will be SDN only and the administration team will not be in charge of those decisions, the developers will be. It will most likely not be applied to most scripts, but if a developer like mentioned in the example has a very decent money making method he wants to protect and control the usage of it we simply have a method of supporting this.

GMC SuperScript Factory was designed so that the average OSBot user can create his own small scripts in order to execute tasks, mostly ones currently without scripts. Not only can the user create the script, he can also save it for later or even share it with the community. With this in mind, OSBot will surge in popularity due to the new versatility that the bot will offer with my script. I can see why Stark is mad because his sale numbers will drop off a cliff, but scripts on the SDN shouldn't be filled with simple tasks that SuperScript can replicate. If scripters want a challenge, they should consider creating farming, slayer, construction, minigame and pking scripts rather than continuously reinventing the wheel. I feel that the price that I'm charging (soon) is only fair, I'm not going to ask 14 year olds to pay me $100.00 in order to get a script that took me a weekend and a case of Coke to make. I see that you've mentioned that I won't be fixing any bugs, you quoted me out of context. I stated that the script would rarely, if ever break as like you said, it's an interface between the user and Java, no Jagex updates will break it. I'd obviously make helping users to use my script a priority as when I ask people for their hard earned money, they should only expect good customer support. I couldn't see any reason to not create multiple tutorials in order to give users a good idea on how to structure their scripts, I've already started by making a full video of making one and have countless screen shots with the full script in view to read. I'd also like to point out that the title of this thread is false, this thread is anything BUT unbiased as you're a script writer who can only lose by me releasing this script, a contrast in situation for those who came to this botting site for botting. Finally, I'd like to stress that I do understand the concept of the issues that you've outlined, but most of these issues would either not exist or not be much of an issue to this flourishing community. If SuperScript becomes a problem, simply make it out of stock like some of the other scripts, or give it its own section in 'Local scripts' and let me deal with the spam. This release features a patch to Freaky Forester and the Run Away From Combat handler. Freaky Forester was again misinterpreting the dialogue telling us which tailed Pheasant to kill. Get everything set up (Java, eclipse, OSBot, script skeleton), and look at other people's code and try to figure out what it does. Then try to write your own starting with something basic.

You want to make a bot or a script? If a script, there should still be a skeleton in one of the sections, there's a loop that repeats itself constantly and an onStart method and other things.

Oh wow, this is quite intellectual indeed! Let me first tell you, I've been raised in, so far as I know it, one of the most strict churches western civilisation has to offer. One of the most, not directly saying it is the most as I haven't experienced much other cultures and religions. The reason I tell you this is because I've debated and talked about it countless of times on the internet (Including /r/atheïsm, god that was horrible). Recently something bad happened to me, I've come to the conclusion that I don't really care about god anymore and totally shut myself out of the church. I'm rational towards christians, because I know what they believe and WHY they believe it. This doesn't make me a christian but just a rational being. As for that mention about /r/Atheïsm, I really felt like an adult discussing with children. Now to all you people who don't believe; don't know what to believe, I don't know, whatever your vision on this world is, What really bothers you about the possibility of a higher lifeform in this universe?

I think Live Chat provides a perfect mix of a way to support people and also a way to relax and have fun. Honestly the questions they ask are so simple and basic, it may only take up to a minute to help someone every once and a while. Help should always be allowed in my opinion.

GMC SuperScript is genius. It should without doubt be released. Let's not talk about script that are currently broken... I think SuperScript is really useful for a lot of people. If you own the script you have the potentials to create simple script for routines which the user doesn't want to perform by him- herself. If the SuperScript is released it would mean that scripters who tend to sell their script have to work harder to create more advanced and origional scripts. This is good because it will improve the amount of quality scripts in this community. The point of a premium script is that it is something that holds a lot of value. If it could be replicated with the SuperScript it isn't really premium worthy. Scripts that prove to be impossible to be replicated by the SuperScript will still be sold.

@Divine: Dude you gotta push updates more frequently like other scripts do. I know your script needs lots of time to fix all the bugs, but hey, that's why it is premium isn't it?;) So would you please fix most of the problems already?

Hello i'm now using Guilded altar runner in someone else his house , when i'm done with praying on his altar he never runs back. i gotta walk back my self till the magic guild than the bot takes over , is this where i paid money for ? Can you please update it as soon as possible, trying to get 99 prayer.

cant get the combat script to work at chaos druids. the options where it is supposed to show what drops to pickup is blank and when i tell it to kill druids anyways it targets rockcrabs. I restarted my osbot client and laptop many times. really love the scripts that you have made though, keep up the good work.
