real talk I wouldn't buy either of those, I'd get an audi of some sort, or a newer range rover for a SUV.

If the choice came down to it, I'd still go with the X1. It's more sportier and I think would appeal more to a younger crowd. The Volvo XC60 is also a good quality, safe vehicle but it doesn't have the same punch in terms of power compared to the X1. The X1 is a vehicle I'd expect my stylish outdoorsman cousin to drive, while the XC60 is a vehicle I'd expect my grandparents to drive.
