Because you dont have to do them anymore you can just ignore the randoms or dismiss them

    It will dismiss them for you, if you have the option disabled then obviously it won't. You don't really need to do them anymore, so you might as well just dismiss it.

    No point maintaining random event scripts when you just can dismiss them.
