Zenonas Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I'm interested in buying account that hasn't got any email set, ill be given all info etc, how do i make sure the account wont get recovered?
Charlotte Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Technically any account despite all information provided, can be recovered.
naturalspring Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 the original owner can recover at anytime. Try buying from a trusted user
Solution Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Accounts can ALWAYS be recovered by the original owner. Even if you have more information than they do. (for example when you have extra membership details and such.) Nice PSA: You're never 100% safe when buying accounts.
Aiban Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 You cant secure but it doesnt hurt to be as thorough as possible when you buy an account ie try to get their original email and request a recovery test before purchasing and milk out as much detail as possible So in the event that they recover just try and get the account locked
Okabe Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Incase they recover pm a mod on twitter say you bought it mention the password it used to have and the acc will get banned.
darkdragon Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Incase they recover pm a mod on twitter say you bought it mention the password it used to have and the acc will get banned. i don't think that would work. If it were that easy then account hijackers would get you banned with ease
JouxRS Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 Your best bet is too only buy accounts from members who are trusted and have experience in selling accounts, buying accounts from new members or anyone with a low post count without vouches is a big no-no.
Okabe Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 i don't think that would work. If it were that easy then account hijackers would get you banned with ease They should be able to see the difference between a hacked account and the original owner selling based on IP switches.
