Star_Scream
Mirror mode is great, prevents a great deal of bans. However there is an underlying problem with it. It utilizes literally double the resources compared to a regular OSBot client. Will we see OSBot have an "add-on" feature where it won't need a second screen, but rather an attachment to a regular OSRS client? This would greatly relieve the stress it puts on CPU/GPU, I have a great CPU but when you're using double the resources it has its strains when running multiple bots. HanixD
I think this would also be great but, if you are gold farming I think its better just using the Stealth Client tbh.
Developer MGI Posted March 10, 2016 Developer Share Posted March 10, 2016 While we are working the best we can to squeeze every possible bit of performance (and compared to the first mirror release, current one uses 5+ times less cpu), the ability to access osrs client remotely (from another process) without injecting and loading bot code inside of it comes with a cost, whether small or not - it is unavoidable. What you can do to reduce amount of cpu it uses is press SHIFT+F2 and lower the fps to 20 or 10. Most scripts do not need high fps to run smoothly and reduced fps means reduced cpu usage. Glad to see that the updates have made the mirror client so much better. Good tips for new users.

Thanks for the tip, is there anything we should expect soon from mirror mode in terms of big updates?
