Hey guys, 

 

New to the community and the API. I wrote a bunch of scripts in the last week but ended up getting banned after a few days of coding. I am worried about getting an IP ban if I continue. What are some good precautions I can take to minimize being banned or at the very least what are some ways to protect my IP so I can continue to write scripts?

I've never been banned while developing a script. My advice is just not to run an unfinished script for extended periods!

if you've already had a few bans, your likely to be flagged and should change your ip before continuing. you'll more than likely just get banned again

So far it is only one ban. I am considering buying a VPN and eventually VIP for the mirror. Having a VPN should at least allow me to continue writing scripts without getting banned immediately, correct? I can deal with bans every few days until I get VIP but I am sure my static IP is flagged at this point
