Monitor brightness and glasses

Hey smile.png

Since I have a new monitor I am sitting much longer infront of it and I noticed that I am getting a headache from it.

Whats the % of your brightness setting?

I also wear glasses for driving ( I see on the short very good but I have problems seeing in the distance)

Do you think I should wear glasses if I am on the computer?

Please only answer the glasses question if you have experience with it.

Thank you QwPha8E.png

Whats your contrast ratio, monitor size and how far back is the monitor on your desk and how lit is the environment around your computer

Size: 24"

Resolution: Full HD

Contrast: 75

Brightness: 50

Sharpness: 60

The normal roomlight is on ( not too bright but not too dark )

I am sitting around 30-40 cm away from my monitor

I always wear glasses BUT when I'm behind my computer because I get headaches after a while.

Im sensitive to brightness overall though, whether irl or computer. So I use dark themes everywhere (computer, websites, ...) which does wonders to my eyes.

Also always leave a light on in the room to ease your eyes
