January 16, 201610 yr Just curious since I have seen how risky account sales are normally. It seems they have insurance for account theft too but not sure if that extends to stolen items on the account too. What are your thoughts/experience with players auctions?
January 16, 201610 yr As long as you buy from a verified seller you should be good, but a lot of people get a few good ratings and then scam people on that site. I would suggest to use with caution if wanting to buy an account.

January 16, 201610 yr You can always get scammed regardless. Buying an account from another owner is never 100% safe.
January 16, 201610 yr No, their "insurance" is fucking bullshit. Only time I've ever chargebacked was because they refused to uphold the $50 of insurance I bought on a $350 account that was recovered less than a month after purchase (and the guy has 100% positive rep over 40 sales). I've never had a problem with recovery for the other 20+ accounts I've bought from PA (different games), but it seems like 99% of the RS community is a bunch of fucking scumbags who need to scam over $50 for lunch money. With that being said, I bought an account from muffins a little while ago and, even though he resold it to me, he guaranteed money back if the account got recovered. In general, I would not trust a single soul who is not well established in at least two communities. If they have a solid reputation, it is not worth their reputation to scam you over less than a few hundred dollars in most cases. Edited January 16, 201610 yr by blm95
January 16, 201610 yr I dont think they'll recover items on the account that you lost. They might reimburse you for the money paid though.
